Salah satu yang berpengaruhterhadapgayahidupremajayaituglobalisasidanpergaulan, baikitupergaulandengantemansebayamaupundenganmasyarakat yang adadilingkungantempattinggalnya. Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuibagaimanagambaran umum gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW, faktor yang melatarbelakangi, pengaruh terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan serta upaya pengendaliannya. Penelitimenggunakanpendekatancampuran yaitu sekuensial eksploratoridenganteknikpengumpulan data menggunakanteknikobservasi, wawancara, angket,studidokumentasi, danstudiliteraturuntukmemperkuathasilanalisisdanhasiltemuanpenelitian. Hasilpenelitianinimengungkapkanbahwapertama, gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW cenderung 'gengsi' sehingga menuju kepada perilaku hedonis serta konsumtif. Kedua, faktor yang melatarbelakangi gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW meliputi faktor internal yang berasal dari diri individu dan faktor eksternal yang datang dari luar diri individu. Ketiga, gaya hidupanakkeluarga TKW berpengaruhrendahterhadapmotivasimelanjutkanpendidikan. Keempat, upaya pengendalian gaya hidup terletak pada peran agen-agen sosialisasi. Sehinggamenghasilkanpribadi yang memilikipola perilaku yang baik, disampingitumembuatanak keluarga TKW sadar akan keadaan sosial disekitarnya.;-- This research is based on the current development in these days, both in village and in the city. The progress of the times will lead a problems for the children of female labors who lives without the presence of the figure of mother in their family. Adolescence is a fun period, but vulnerable and critical.One of that influence teenage lifestyle are globalization and socialization, both association with peers or with the existing community in their neighborhood.This study aims to determine how to figure out the lifestyle of female labors children, the underlying factors, theimpact on educational motivation and the control efforts. The method that used is a mixed approach namely sequential exploratory that was conducted by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation studies, and literature studies to strengthen the results of the analysis and the results of the research. The results of this research revealed that first, lifestyle of the female labors children tend to the 'prestige' that leads to hedonic and consumptive behavior. Second, the underlying factors of female labors children's lifestyle includes internal factorsthat comes from their individual and eksternal factors that comes from the outside of theirindividual. Third, lifestyle of female labors children have low effect on the motivation to continue their education. Fourth, the control efforts of their lifestyle depends on the role of socialization agencies, so it will produce children whom has good a behavior.Besides, that will create female labors children aware of the surrounding social circumstances.
