520 |a ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN PROGRAM PENINGKATAN EMPATI SISWA REGULER TERHADAP SISWA BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DI SEKOLAH INKLUSIF X DI KOTA BANDUNG Fitri Nurkania NIM. 1604749 / Program Studi Pendidikan Khusus Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inklusif X, serta belum optimalnya program peningkatan empati yang telah dilaksanakan di sekolah, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan program untuk meningkatkan empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Oleh karena itu tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk merumuskan pengembangan program peningkatan empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inklusif X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R and D) dengan tiga tahap utama yang secara prosedural mewakili 10 tahapan research and development menurut Borg dan Gall , tiga tahapan utama tersebut yaitu (1) tahap studi pendahaluan, (2) tahap perumusan program, dan (3) tahap uji keterlaksanaan program. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa pengembangan program peningkatan empati yang diberi nama "Care and Close". Pengembangaan program ini didasarkan atas profil kondisi objektif empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus, faktor penghambat dan pendukung terbangunnya empati siswa reguler, profil program peningkatan empati yang sebelumnya telah dilaksanakan sekolah, rumusan pengembangan program dan uji keterlaksanaan. Hasil uji keterlaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan program ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan empati siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inlusif X di kota Bandung. ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF THE EMPATHY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR REGULAR STUDENTS TOWARDS SPECIAL NEED STUDENTS IN INCLUSIVE SCHOOL X IN BANDUNG CITY Fitri Nurkania NIM. 1604749 / Special Education Program This research is motivated by a lack of regular student empathy for students with special needs in X inclusive schools, and the lack of optimal empathy programs that have been implemented in schools, so programs are needed to develop regular student empathy for students with special needs. Therefore the purpose of this research is to formulate the development of a program to increase the empathy of regular students towards students with special needs in inclusive X schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R and D) with three main stages that procedurally represent 10 stages of research and development according to Borg and Gall, the three main stages are (1) the preliminary study stage, (2) the stage of program formulation, and (3) the stage of the program implementation test. Data collection techniques are carried out are observation, interview, documentation study and questionnaires. The results of this study are in the form of developing an empathy improvement program which is named "Care and Close". The development of this program is based on a profile of the objective conditions of regular student empathy towards students with special needs, inhibiting factors and supporting the development of regular student empathy, profile of the empathy improvement program that had previously been carried out by schools, program development and implementation tests. Implementation test results indicate that there is an increase in empathy of reguler student toward special needs students. Overall, it can be concluded that the development of this program is proven to be able to increase the empathy of regular students towards students with special needs in X inclusive schools in the city of Bandung.
