| Summary: | This study aims to find out the description of the interests in adult twins viewed from three different types of interest, namely, personal interest, recreational interest, and social interest. Interest is the propensity of the individual to be interested or excited over something that is affected by the environment as well as the activities or tasks that give pleasure or enjoyment for them. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The subject in this study is selected purposively, which is two pairs of identical twins who are in the age of 20-25 years old, studying in the college, and living in Bandung city. The data are collected by in-depth interview technique, as well as validated by the member check technique and triangulation. The findings show that the two pairs of the adult twins, either HD and HR or SI and SA have similarities and differences in the personal, recreational, and social interests. The suggestions of the findings in this study are that the two pairs of twins are expected to develop more interests in order to optimize their potentials and the parents are also expected to appreciate more the differences between their children and not necessarily to equate their child twins in everything, since each individual already have different thoughts and interests. Keywords: interests, early adult, twins Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran minat pada dewasa kembar dilihat dari tiga jenis minat, yaitu minat pribadi, minat rekreasi, dan minat sosial. Minat adalah kecenderungan seorang individu untuk tertarik atau senang terhadap sesuatu hal yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan serta aktivitas atau tugas-tugas yang memberikan kesenangan atau kenikmatan bagi dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purpossive, yaitu dua pasang dewasa kembar yang identik berusia 20-25 tahun, masih menempuh kuliah S1, dan bertempat tinggal di kota Bandung. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, serta divalidasi dengan teknik member check dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pada dua pasang dewasa kembar, baik HD dan HR maupun SI dan SA memiliki persamaan dan perbedaan dalam minat pribadi, minat rekreasi, dan minat sosial. Saran dari hasil penelitian ini, bahwa dua pasang kembar diharapkan agar dapat lebih mengembangkan minat-minat yang ada dalam diri masing-masing guna mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki dan bagi orang tua lebih menghargai perbedaan serta tidak selalu menyamakan anak kembarnya dalam segala hal, karena masing-masing individu sudah memiliki pemikiran dan minat yang berbeda.
