| Summary: | Bencana letusan gunung Agung di Bali pada September hingga November 2017 merupakan suatu peristiwa yang besar, karena Bali adalah salah satu destinasi wisata populer yang mampu mendatangkan banyak wisatawan asing maupun lokal. Hal ini berdampak pada pemberitaan yang banyak diterbitkan oleh media, baik media asing maupun lokal. Sebuah pemberitaan harus ditanggapi secara kritis agar makna yang diterima khalayak tidak berbeda. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis teks berita bencana letusan Gunung Agung di Bali dengan menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Theo Van Leeuwen (2008). Analisis wacana kritis Leeuwen (2008) memiliki dua tahap yaitu analisis struktur mikro dan analisis struktur makro. Struktur mikro terbagi atas dua proses yaitu proses eksklusi dan proses inklusi. Proses eksklusi dibagi menjadi 3 strategi yaitu pasivasi, nominalisasi, dan penggantian anak kalimat. Sedangkan proses inklusi dibagi menjadi 7 strategi diantaranya diferensiasi-indiferensiasi, objektivasi-abstraksi, nominasi-kategorisasi, nominasi-identifikasi, determinasi-indeterminasi, asimilasi-individualisasi dan asosiasi-disasosiasi. Sedangkan struktur makro menganalisis konteks sosial, yaitu bagaimana seseorang atau kelompok dimarjinalkan dalam pemberitaan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: 1) strategi dalam proses eksklusi yang terdapat di dalam pemberitaan bencana letusan gunung Agung pada surat kabar daring Perancis; 2) strategi dalam proses inklusi yang terdapat di dalam pemberitaan bencana letusan gunung Agung pada surat kabar daring Perancis; 3) konteks sosial yang terkandung dalam pemberitaan bencana letusan gunung Agung pada surat kabar daring Perancis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dimana mengungkapkan fakta atau suatu permasalahan sebagaimana adanya. Kemudian objek penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga surat kabar daring, yaitu Le monde, Le figaro, dan La croix. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan artikel berita, selanjutnya menganalisis struktur mikro dan makro untuk kemudian disimpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa pada struktur mikro terdapat 47 strategi, yang didominasi oleh proses inklusi dengan strategi determinasi-indeterminasi yang muncul sebanyak 14 kali. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa surat kabar daring Perancis lebih menggunakan strategi tersebut, yang berfokus pada penggambaran nama atau identitas aktor secara jelas atau tidak jelas. Selanjutnya pada struktur makro, ketimpangan sosial pada surat kabar daring le monde dan le figaro tidak terlalu muncul karena tidak adanya aktor yang terlalu disudutkan. Namun berbeda pada surat kabar daring la croix terdapat ketimpangan sosial, karena adanya pihak yang lebih dimunculkan yaitu pemerintah Indonesia.;-- The disaster of Mount Agung eruption in Bali from September to November 2017 is a big event, because Bali is one of the popular tourist destinations that can bring in many foreign and local tourists. This has an impact on the news that is widely published by the media, both foreign and local media. A report must be responded critically so that the meaning received by the audience is no different. This study focuses on analyzing the news text of the Mount Agung eruption in Bali using critical discourse analysis model Theo Van Leeuwen (2008). Leeuwen's (2008) critical discourse analysis has two stages, namely the analysis of microstructure and macro structure. Micro structure is divided into two strategies, namely exclusion and inclusion. While the macro structure analyzes the social context, namely how a person or group is marginalized in reporting. The formulation of the research problem is (1) In the microstructure, what strategies are contained in the news of the catastrophic eruption of Mount Agung in Bali in the French online newspaper? 2) In the macro structure, what is the social context contained in the news of the catastrophic eruption of Mount Agung in Bali in the French online newspaper? Based on the formulation of the problem, this study aims to: 1) Analyze the microstructure of any strategy contained in the news of the disaster of the Mount Agung eruption in Bali in the French online newspaper. 2) Analyze the macro structure regarding the social context contained in the news of the disaster of the Mount Agung eruption in Bali in the French online newspaper. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method with the object of this study on three online newspapers, namely Le Monde, Le Figaro, and La Croix. The method used is descriptive qualitative which reveals facts or a problem as it is. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting news articles, then analyzing micro and macro structures to be concluded. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in the micro structure there were 47 forms of strategies that were dominated by the form of inclusion determination strategies which appeared 14 times. This shows that French online newspapers use this strategy which focuses on describing the actor's name or identity clearly or unclearly. Furthermore in the macro structure, social inequality in newspapers online le monde and le figaro does not appear too much because there are no actors who are too cornered. But different from the online newspaper la croix there is social inequality, because there are more parties raised, namely the Indonesian government. |
