Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh pada setiap tahap model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir elaboratif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey berbasis eksperimen, subjek penelitian ini adalah 342 peserta didik yang tersebar di empat SMA di Kabupaten Subang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan kemampuan berpikir elaboratif. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E pada tahap engagement sebesar 21,8%, pada tahap exploration sebesar 18,9%, pada tahap explanation sebesar 26%, pada tahap elaboration sebesar 47,5%, dan pada tahap evaluation sebesar 33,6%. Dari setiap tahap model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E yang paling berpengaruh pada tahap elaboration karena pada tahap ini peserta didik dapat menemukan konsep baru dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir elaboratif dapat dilakukan dengan membiasakan peserta didik mengerjakan soal-soal yang memuat indikator berpikir elaboratif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir elaboratif peserta didik SMA di Kabupaten Subang. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect at each stage of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on students' elaborative thinking skills. This study used an experimental-based survey method, the subjects of this study were 342 students spread across four high schools in Subang Regency. The variables in this study are the Learning Cycle 5E learning model and the ability to think elaboratively. Data analysis techniques using linear regression. The results showed there was an influence of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model at the engagement stage of 21.8%, at the exploration stage at 18.9%, at the explanation stage at 26%, at the elaboration stage at 47.5%, and at the evaluation stage at 33 6%. From each stage of learning model Learning Cycle 5E is the most influential at the elaboration stage because at this stage students can find new concepts in solving problems given by the teacher. To improve the elaborative thinking ability can be done by accustoming students to work on problems that contain indicators of elaborative thinking, so it can be concluded that the Learning Cycle 5E learning model has an influence on the elaborative thinking ability of high school students in Subang Regency.
