Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan XII Akuntansi di SMK Setia Bhakti Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sensus, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi siswa kelas XI dan XII Akuntansi yang berjumlah 61 siswa. Data variabel kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner yang diberikan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru SMK Setia Bhakti berada pada kriteria tinggi, dan motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan hasil pengujian hipotesis melalui uji F dan uji t, maka diketahui bahwa kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Diharapkan guru dapat mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan kompetensinya agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.;--This research aims to determine how teacher's competence influence student's learning motivation in class XI and XII Accounting at SMK Setia Bhakti Bandung. This method used in this research is descriptive verification method with quantitative approach. The technique sampling used in this research is the census technique, so the sample of this research is whole population student in class XI and XII Accounting which totaled 61 students. The variable data of teacher's competence and student's learning motivation are obtained from questionnaires given to students. The research showed that the teacher's competence at SMK Setia Bhakti Bandung is in high criteria, and student's learning motivation is in high criteria. Based on data analysis that has been done using simple regression analysis and the results of hypothesis testing through F test and t test, then it is known that teacher's competence has a positive influence on student's learning motivation. It is expected that teachers can maintain and even improve their competence in order to increase student's learning motivation.
