Summary: | The research entitled "Learning Kendang in Kampung Babakan Karang, Singaparna Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency" the background of researchers to develop similar Kendang learning in various places, studios and schools. The learning of Kendang in Babakan Karang village was chosen as an example even though it hand been developing for eight months but was able to produce potential students. This study aims to discuss how to Kendang learning in the village of Babakan Karang . The study included selection of methods, procedure and learning materials. This study used a descriptive method through a qualitative approach to describe the real phenomenon occurring in the learning activities of the Kendang in Babakan Karang village. The participants being the subject of the study were twelve students of the student learning. Based on the results of the study, the methods used are lecture methods, questions and answers, imitations, demonstrations and rehearsal. As for the procedure and learning materials provided starts from the introduction of the Kendang passages, symbols of kendang notation, reading the Kendang notation, teaching the basic technique of the Kendang, to the Kendang embat Sawilet and Rampak Kendang. The evaluation system used by the trainer is process evaluation system and result evaluation. Process evaluation is performed at the end of the meeting as a formative evaluation, the result of overall is done after the materialis conveyed and understood by the students (summative evaluation). Through learning and practicing gradually with the right methods of learning can increase the knowledge, attitudes and skills of students in understanding the material in the pattern of Kendang clubbing. Overall, the learning activities in Babakan Karang village went well. |
