Summary

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 1 Sumedang terhadap siswa kelas XII Desain Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah pengaruh praktik kerja lapangan terhadap kompetensi inti siswa. Dalam penelitian kali ini terdapat dua variabel yang digunakan yaitu praktik kerja lapangan dan kompetensi inti. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran umum bagaimana pelaksanaan umum praktik kerja lapangan, mengetahui gambaran umum kompetensi inti siswa mengenai bidang konstruksi, serta mengatahui seberapa besar pengaruh praktik kerja lapangan terhadap komptensi inti siswa kelas XII Desain Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan mengenai bidang konstruksi di SMKN 1 Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket/kuesioner mengenai praktik kerja lapangan dan tes soal kompetensi inti. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 71 responden yang merupakan siswa kelas XII DPIB di SMKN 1 Sumedang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa gambaran praktik kerja lapangan berada pada kategori cukup dan gambaran kompetensi inti berada dalam kategori cukup dengan persamaan regresi linier Ŷ = 27,375 + 0.453 X. Berdasarkan uji regresi, diperoleh hasil Fhitung = 1.040 < Ftabel = 1.914 sehingga variabel berpola linier. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan uji signifikasi Fhitung = 17.767 > F¬tabel = 4.013 sehingga regresi searah positif dan signifikan . Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan berupa semakin baik pelaksanaan praktik kerja lapangan maka semakin baik juga kompetensi inti siswa meningkat, oleh karena itu praktik kerja lapangan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi inti. Kata kunci: Praktik Kerja Lapangan, kompetensi inti ABSTRACT This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Sumedang on the XII grade students of Modeling Design and Building Information with the problem studied was the influence of fieldwork practices on student's core competencies. In this study, there are two variables used, namely fieldwork practices and core competencies. The purpose of this study is to find a general description of how the general implementation of field work practices, to find a general description of student's core competencies regarding the construction field, and to know how much influence the fieldwork practices have on the core competencies of XII grade students at SMKN 1 Sumedang. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, data collection instruments used in the form of questionnaires regarding field work practices and tests of core competencies. The number of respondents in this study were 71 respondents who were DPIB XII grade students at SMK 1 Sumedang. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The data processing results show that the description of fieldwork practices is in the sufficient category and the description of core competencies is in the sufficient category with the linear regression equation Ŷ = 27.375 + 0.453 X. Based on the regression test, the results obtained are Fcount = 1,040 <Ftable = 1,914 so that the variables are linear patterned. While the results of the calculation of the significance test Fcount = 17,767> F-table = 4013 so that the regression is positive and significant. The amount of influence exerted in the form of the better implementation of fieldwork practices, the better the core competencies of students increase, therefore the practice of fieldwork can improve core competencies.
