Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status Antropometri Indeks Massa Tubuh siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung terhadap kecenderungan tubuh ideal dan obesitas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analisis, yaitu jenis penilitian untuk dan dirancang dengan desain observasional. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berupa data yang bersifat kuantitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa SD negeri dan dan swasta di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode crossectional dan teknik yang digunakan yaitu dengan pengukuran. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 sampai kelas 6 di SDN Cisitu, SDN Tilil, SD YAS 2, SDPN Setia Budhi dan SDN Geger Kalong dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa sebanyak 914 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa status IMT seluruh siswa dari kelas 1 sampai kelas 6 yang memiliki status IMT kurang sebanyak 723 siswa (79,10%), yang memiliki status IMT ideal sebanyak 174 siswa (19,04%), dan yang memiliki status IMT lebih sebanyak 17 siswa (1,86%). Artinya anak lebih banyak dengan status Indeks Massa Tubuh kurang. Abstract This research aims to know the status of Anthropometry of Body Mass Index of elementary school students in the city of Bandung against ideal body tendencies and obesity. This research is descriptive analysis research, namely the type of research for and designed with observational design. The type of data collected in this study is quantitative data. The research subjects were public and private elementary school students in the city of Bandung. This research uses crossectional methods and the techniques used are measurement. The samples used in this study were grade 1 to 6 students in Cisitu Elementary School, Tilil Elementary School, YAS 2 Elementary School, Setia Budhi Elementary School and Geger Kalong Elementary School with a total number of 914 students. The results of this study indicate that BMI status of all students from grade 1 to grade 6 who have less BMI status is 723 students (79.10%), who have an ideal BMI status of 174 students (19.04%), and who have BMI status more than 17 students (1.86%). This means that there are more children with less body mass index status.
