| Summary: | Survival & safety skill merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki siswapada ranah pribadi sosial. Survival and safety skill adalah keterampilan seseorang untuk bertahan dan menyelamatkan diri dengan merespon bahaya, tekanan, maupun kondisi yang memungkinkan terjadinya bahaya secara tepat sehingga mampu mengembangkan diri secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran survival & safety skill siswa secara umum, berdasarkan jenis kelamin, berdasarkan keutuhan keluarga, dan berdasarkan urutan anak dalam keluarga. Gambaran umum tersebut digunakan untuk menyusun program kelompok menggunakan role playing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi yang diteliti dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Harapan 212. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampel jenuh dengan subjek sebanyak 61 siswa. Penelitian mengungkap: (1) secara umum survival & safety skill berada pada kategori kurang kompeten, (2) survival & safety skill siswa perempuan dan laki-laki berada pada kategori kurang kompeten namun skor survival & safety skill siswa perempuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki, (3) survival & safety skill siswa dengan keluarga yang lengkap dan tidak lengkap berada pada kategori kurang kompeten namun skor survival & safety skill siswa dengan keluarga yang lengkap lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa dengan keluarga yang tidak lengkap, (4) survival & safety skill anak tunggal, sulung bungsu dan pertengahan berada pada kategori kurang kompeten dengan urutan dari yang tertinggi ke yang terrendah yaitu anak sulung, anak tunggal, anak pertengahan dan terakhir anak bungsu, (5) Rumusan program bimbingan disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dengan struktur meliputi rasional, deskripsi kebutuhan, visi misi, tujuan, komponen program, rencana operasional, pengembangan tema, RPL dan evaluasi. Rekomendasi untuk guru kelas dapat mengaplikasikan rumusan program bimbingan untuk meningkatkan survival & safety skill dan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengambil subjek penelitian yang lebih luas.;---Survival & safety skill is one of the competencies which must be possessed by students in the social personality aspect. Survival and safety skill is a person's skill to survive and save himself by responding to the danger, pressure, and conditions that enable the occurrence of danger precisely so that he is able to develop himself optimally. The purpose of this research is to investigate the description of survival & safety skill of students in general, based on gender, family completeness, and based on the order of children in family. The general description is used to arrange group programs using role playing. This research uses quantitative approach with descriptive method. Population studied in this research is the graed V students of SDN Harapan 212. Sampling technique used is "jenuh" sample technique with 61 students as the subjects. This research reveals that: (1) in general, their survival & safety skill is in less competent category, (2) survival & safety skill of female and male students is in less competent category, but survival & safety skill scores of female students are higher than male students', (3) survival & safety skill of students from complete and incomplete families are in less competent category, but survival & safety skill scores of students from complete family are higher than students' from incomplete family, (4) survival & safety skill of the only child, the oldest child, the youngest child, and the middle child are in the less competent category with the order from the highest to the lowest one: the eldest child, the only child, the middle child, and the youngest child, (5) the design of the guidance program is developed based on the analysis of needs assessment with a structure including rational, description of needs, vision mision, objective, program components, operational plans, theme development and evaluation. Rekomendation for classroom teachers can apply the design guidance program to improvesurvival & safety skill and for further researchers can take the broader subject of research. |
