Summary

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil dari penerapan pembelajaran tari Ratoh Duek untuk penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa di SMP Negeri 9 Bandung dengan menitikberatkan pada nilai kerjasama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII I di SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan persentase. Tari Ratoh Duek merupakan tarian yang berasal dari provinsi Aceh yang penuh dengan nilai kerjasama. Nilai kerjasama ini yang akan peneliti kuatkan pada siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada kegiatan pembelajaran tari Ratoh Duek sebagai upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa terlihat selama proses pembelajaran siswa menunjukkan sikap bekerja sama dengan baik, baik itu bekerjasama dengan temannya maupun dengan peneliti sebagai pembimbing di kelas. Siswa mampu berinteraksi dengan baik dalam kelompoknya, menghargai perbedaan pendapat dan saling membantu untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Dalam proses pembelajaran ini, tidak sedikit siswa yang kurang bisa bekerjasama dengan temannya, masih berisik saat peneliti memberikan pengarahan dan kurang patuh. Terlepas dari hal itu, sikap baik seluruh siswa ditunjukkan dengan mengikuti pembelajaran tari Ratoh Duek dengan baik, tertib dan patuh, ;---This study aims to determine the process and results of the application of Ratoh Duek dance learning to strengthen student character education in SMP Negeri 9 Bandung by focusing on the value of cooperation. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. The subject of this study was students of class VII I in SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. Check the validity of the data using percentages. Ratoh Duek Dance is a dance originating from the province of Aceh which is full of cooperation values. The value of this collaboration that researchers will strengthen on students. The results of this study indicate that in Ratoh Duek dance learning activities as an effort to strengthen student character education seen during the student learning process shows a good cooperative attitude, both in collaboration with friends and with researchers as mentors in the classroom. Students are able to interact well in their groups, respect differences of opinion and help each other to achieve common goals. In this learning process, not a few students who are less able to cooperate with friends, are still noisy when researchers provide direction and are less obedient. Apart from that, the good attitude of all students was shown by following Ratoh Duek dance learning well, orderly and obediently.
