PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR "MENGIDENTIFIKASI RESIKO HYGIENE TERKAIT KERUSAKAN MAKANAN"

Metode pembelajaran two stay two stray merupakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif yang artinya pembelajaran berpusat kepada siswa sehingga siswa cenderung lebih aktif dan suasana kelas pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung tidak membosankan. Kompetensi Dasar "Mengidentifikasi Resiko Hygiene Terkait Kerusakan Makanan" adalah kompetensi dasar yang ada dalam mata pelajaran Keamanan Pangan SMKN 9 Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran penerapan metode pembelajaran two stay two stray pada kompetensi dasar "Mengidentifikasi Resiko Hygiene Terkait Kerusakan Makanan" ditinjau dari hasil belajar dan langkah pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru. Penelitian menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen pada saat pretest nilai rata-rata sebesar 51,83 dan pada saat posttest sebesar 83,5 dan mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 0,32% dari hasil pretest-posttest dan termasuk pada kriteria N-Gain Tinggi. Sementara hasil belajar kelas kontrol pada saat pretest sebesar 50,83 dan pada saat posttest sebesar 68,83 dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,18% dari hasil pretest-posttest dan termasuk pada kriteria N-Gain Rendah. Selanjutnya untuk langkah pembelajaran pada kedua kelas terlaksana dengan baik dan sesuai dengan metode yang digunakan dikelas masing-masing. Dari hasil belajar dan langkah pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran two stay two stray mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa melalui aspek pengetahuan (C1), Pemahaman (C2), Penerapan (C3) pada kompetensi dasar "mengidentifikasi resiko hygiene terkait kerusakan makanan". Metode pembelajaran two stay two stray dapat direkomendasikan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dikelas agar dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. ;---The two stay two stray learning method is a cooperative learning method which the learning process is student-centered, creating more active students and a non-boring classroom atmosphere during teaching activity. Basic Competency of "Identifying Hygiene Risks Related to Food Damage" is a basic competency that take place in the the school subject of Food Safety in SMKN 9 Bandung. This study aims to obtain an overview of the application of the two stay two stray learning method in the basic competency "Identifying Hygiene Risks Related to Food Damage" towards the learning outcomes and learning steps which taken by the teacher. The study used Quasi Experimental Design as method and Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design as research design. The study results shows an average value of 51.83 and 83.5 during pretest and posttest, an increase of 0.32% from the pretest-posttest results, including the High N-Gain criteria as the learning outcomes in the experimental class. Meanwhile the learning outcomes of the control class shows 50.83 and 68.83of pretest and posttest, an increase of 0.18% from the pretest-posttest results, including the Low N-Gain criteria. Furthermore, the learning steps in both classes are carried out well in according to the methods which are used in each respective class. From the learning outcomes and learning steps it can be concluded that the two stay two stray learning method could improve students'cognitive abilities through the aspects of knowledge (C1), understanding (C2), application (C3) in the basic competency of "identifying hygiene risks related to food damage". Two stay two stray learning methods can be recommended as a learning method that teachers use in class to improve the learning outcomes.
