Busana pengantin ialah busana yang digunakan oleh mempelai pria dan wanita pada acara pernikahan. Salah satu model busana pengantin wanita yang populer ialah busana pengantin model ball gown. Kerapihan dan keindahan produk busana pengantin model ball gown selain dipengaruhi oleh kualitas bahan yang tinggi, juga ditunjang oleh ketepatan teknik jahit dan teknik penyelesaian dalam proses pembuatannya. Untuk mengetahui kualitas dari suatu produk busana pengantin model ball gown maka perlu dilakukannya analisis produk. Analisis produk dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pada produk busana pengantin model ball gown dari hasil praktek mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Busana pada mata kuliah Busana Pengantin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Busana Pengantin dengan menganalisis produk busana pengantin model ball gown yang mencakup karakteristik ball gown, teknik jahit ball gown dan teknik penyelesaian ball gown. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dan sampel total dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penilaian. Temuan penelitian ditinjau dari karakteristik ball gown menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa sudah memahami dan memenuhi seluruh kriteria ball gown. Ditinjau dari teknik jahit ball gown hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa beberapa mahasiswa sudah mampu menguasai teknik jahit couture, dan jika ditinjau dari teknik penyelesaian ada beberapa mahasiswa yang kurang memenuhi kriteria jahit penyelesaian.;---Wedding dress is clothing used by brides and grooms at weddings. One of the popular wedding dress models for woman is the ball gown wedding gown model. The neatness and beauty of the ball gown wedding gown model is influenced by high material quality, also supported by the precision of sewing techniques and finishing techniques in the manufacturing process. To find out the quality of a bridal fashion product, the product of ball gown model needs to be analyzed. Product analysis in this study was carried out on ball gown wedding dress products from the results of the practice of Fashion Design students in the Bridal Clothing course. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of success of students in the Bridal Clothing course by analyzing the wedding gown product model of ball gown which includes the characteristics of ball gown , ball gown sewing techniques and finishing techniques of ball gown . The research method used is descriptive method and total sample with data collection techniques using a rating scale. The findings of the study in terms of the characteristics of ball gowns show that most students have understood and met all the criteria for ball gowns. Judging from ball gown sewing techniques, the results of this research show that some students have been able to master couture sewing techniques, and if viewed from the completion technique there are some students who do not meet the sewing finishing criteria.
