520 |a Research has been done on the application of Real World Application learning on the concept of Geometric Optics of high school students. The purpose of this study is to improve the mastery of students' concepts. The method used in this study is experiment. One group design pre and posttest design. The research subjects were 27 students of class XI MIPA in one of the State High Schools in the City of Bandung, West Java Province. The research instrument used was the mastery of concepts in the form of multiple choice type written tests related to the concepts of geometry optics, observation sheets, questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that after the application of Real World Applicatin learning the results of students' mastery of concepts generally increased 0.7.
