520 |a School children are susceptible to problems of lack and over nutrition. One of the factors causing these problems is the quality of food consumption consumed every day. The objective of this study is to determine the nutritional status of students, food consumption of students, and the diet quality of Kreatif Harapan Bangsa Elementary School students of Cimahi. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive with case study design. The population is 75 students of Kreatif Harapan Bangsa Elementary School. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling, which is used by 42 students from grade 4, 5 and 6 of Kreatif Harapan Bangsa Elementary School. The results obtained are of (12%) students having underweight nutritional status, of (69%) students having normal nutritional status, of (17%) students having fat nutritional status and of (2%) students having obese nutritional status. In average, the food consumption of students are 2183.7 cal per day with 59.6 grams of protein, 70.3 grams of fat, 289.9 grams of carbohydrate, 679.8 mg of calcium, 700.6 mg of phosphorus, 581 mg of vitamin A, 581 mg of vitamin A, 1.97 mg of vitamin B, and 51.6 mg of vitamin C. The students' diety quality on school days is (11.9%) poor, (83.3%) need improvement and (4.8%) good. While the students' diet quality on holidays is (12%) poor and (88%) need improvement. The recommendation given for relevant institution are that to provide knowledge and assistance for students' diet on school days and for mothers, to pay attention on the food consumed by children on holidays in order to produce a good diet.
