Summary

Warisan budaya Indonesia sedikit demi sedikit menghilang dan punah. Contoh nyatanya adalah tenun Kofo asal Sangihe-Talaud Sulawesi Utara. Ragam hias Kofo Sulawesi Utara memiliki motif geometris mirip anyaman yang unik. Belah ketupat merupakan motif utama dari motif tenun Kofo. Warna merah dan kecoklatan merupakan warna ciri khas motif Kofo yang sangat dekat dengan alam. Penulis mencoba mengangkat motif tenun Kofo dengan membuatnya ke dalam tas perempuan dengan bahan dasar kulit imitasi. Saat ini hampir setiap perempuan memiliki tas yang sudah menjadi sebagai lifestyle atau gaya hidup sehari-hari. Tas perempuan memiliki berbagai macam bentuk dan jenis. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini ingin menghidupkan kembali tenun Kofo yang sudah punah. Hasil penciptaan karya melalui beberapa proses sehingga menghasilkan karya tas perempuan. Tas perempuan yang diaplikasikan motif Kofo itu seperti, Satchel Bag, Massenger Bag/Sling Bag, Hobo Bag, Field Bag dan Baguette Bag. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu teknik printing dengan menggunakan mesin digital printing flatbed. Setelah proses pengerjaan, hasil yang diperoleh berupa lima karya tas perempuan dengan aplikasi ragam hias Kofo. Tas perempuan yang modern namun dengan tema tradisional membuat ciri tersendiri dalam karya ini. Diharapkan hasil penciptaan ini dapat menginspirasi dalam usaha menghidupkan kembali warisan budaya Indonesia yang sudah punah dan menjadi sebuah inovasi dalam membuat karya. ;---Indonesia's cultural heritage gradually disappeared and became extinct. The real example is Kofo weaving from Sangihe-Talaud, North Sulawesi. The Kofo ornament of North Sulawesi has a unique woven geometric motif. Rhombus is the main motif of Kofo's weaving motif. The red and brownish color is the characteristic color of the Kofo motif that is very close to nature. The author tries to lift the motif of Kofo's weaving by making it into a women's bag with basic ingredients of imitation leather. This time almost every woman has a bag that has become a lifestyle or daily lifestyle. Women's bags have various shapes and types. The purpose of the creation of this work is to revive the extinct Kofo weaving. The results of the creation of the work go through several processes to produce the work of women's bags. The women's bag that was applied to the Koffo motif such as, Satchel Bag, Massenger Bag / Sling Bag, Hobo Bag, Field Bag and Baguette Bag. The technique used is printing techniques using a digital printing flatbed machine. After the construction process, the results obtained were in the form of five female bag works with Kofo decorative applications. Modern women's bags but with traditional themes make their own characteristics in this work. The author hoped that the results of this creation can inspire in an effort to revive Indonesia's extinct cultural heritage and become an innovation in making works.
