Summary:Implementasi total quality management (TQM) di dalam pendidikan diharapkan dapat mencapai mutu pendidikan yang dicita-citakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi total quality management (TQM) dalam meningkatkan layanan sekolah di SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan mempelajari dokumen dan rekaman yang terkait penelitian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TQM di SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan terbukti dengan terus meningkatnya input pada SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung, perbaikan secara terus menerus dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah sehingga banyak prestasi yang dihasilkan dan dicapai oleh guru ataupun peserta didik. Akan tetapi ditemukan juga bahwa salah satu faktor yang menjadi penghambat implementasi TQM di SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung yaitu adanya berberapa pihak yang tidak menjalankan komitmen jangka panjang dengan baik. Temuan tersebut mengarah pada rekomendasi bahwa diperlukan sinergitas dalam mengimplementasikan TQM, kepala sekolah sebagai pimpinan hendaknya memberikan motivasi dan mengikutsertakan seluruh lapisan management, guru dan karyawan untuk bertanggung jawab dan memberikan kepercayaan menentukan kualitas yang akan dicapai sehingga mereka dapat memegang teguh komitmennya terhadap peningkatan layanan sekolah.;---The implementation of total quality management (TQM) in education is expected to achieve the desired quality of education. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of total quality management (TQM) in improving school services at Muhammadiyah 7 Elementary School Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and studying documents and records related to research. This study shows that the implementation of TQM in Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung Elementary School can increase customer satisfaction as evidenced by the continued increase in input at Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung Elementary School, continuous improvement is made by the school so that many achievements are generated and achieved by teachers or students. However, it was also found that one of the factors that inhibited the implementation of TQM in Muhammadiyah 7 Elementary School Bandung was the presence of several parties who did not carry out long-term commitments properly. These findings lead to the recommendation that synergy is needed in implementing TQM, principals as leaders should provide motivation and include all levels of management, teachers and employees to be responsible and give confidence in determining the quality to be achieved so that they can uphold their commitment to improving school services.
