Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 33 siswa pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di SDN 023 Pajagalan Kecamatan Astana Anyar Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas, hal ini dapat dilihat dari rerata aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu 28% yang memiliki kategori cukup aktif. Berdasarkan refleksi pra-siklus, guru terbiasa menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan tanpa memberikan kesempatan pada siswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay yang sebelumnya belum pernah dilakukan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan peneliti adalah PTK dari kemmis & taggart yang dimulai dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi yang kemudian dibuat perencanaan perbaikan untuk digunakan pada siklus selanjutnya. Pada siklus I, muatan pelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik pembelajaran 4 adalah Jenis-jenis usaha yang dikelola oleh kelompok, peristiwa sedangkan pada siklus II pembelajaran 3 materi yang digunakan adalah Pengaruh kegiatan ekonomi terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pada siklus I, kelas kurang kondusif, sedangkan pada siklus II kelas sudah dapat dikondisikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan rerata 64% menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa course review horay dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V sekolah dasar.;---This study aims to improve student learning activities on the subjects of Social Studies In The Fifth Grade Of Primary School. Participants in this study were students of class V which amounted to 33 students in the academic year 2017/2018 at SDN 023 Pajagalan District Astana Anyar Bandung. This research started from low activity of student learning in class, this matter can be seen from mean of student activity activity that is 28% having category enough active. Based on pre-cycle reflection, teachers are accustomed to using lecture and assignment methods without giving students the opportunity to be actively involved in learning. Therefore, researchers conduct research by applying cooperative learning type course review horay course that had never been done by teachers in learning. Classroom action research used by researcher is CAR from kemmis & taggart starting from planning, action, observation, and reflection which then made improvement planning to be used in the next cycle. In cycle I, the content of lesson used in teaching thematic learning 4 is Types of business managed by group, event while in cycle II learning 3 material used is Influence of economic activity to society welfare level. In cycle I, the class is less conducive, while in cycle II the class can already be conditioned. The results showed that the learning activities of students in cycle I with the average of 64% to 92% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that the course review horay can increase the student's learning activity in the subject of Social Studies in the fifth rade of primary school.
