Metodepenelitian yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahdeskriptifanalisisdenganpendekatankuantitatifmembandingkandokumensilabus SMK bidangkeahlianteknikpengelasandansilabus Mata KuliahTeknikPengelasanDasar&Lanjut di DPTM FPTK UPIsehinggadicarirelevansidiantarakeduanya. Hasilpenelitianmenunjukanbahwamateri Mata KuliahTeknikPengelasanDasar&Lanjutrelevanpadamateri Mata PelajaranTeknikPengelasan di SMK menghasilkantingkatrelevansi 69% dengankategorirelevan. Berdasarkanhasilpenelitianini, calon guru dapatmembantuterlaksananyapembelajaran yang optimal denganmemberikanilustrasipengaplikasianmateriTeknikPengelasanpadapesertadidik;---For the creation of students who are competent in the field of welding engineering, prospective teachers who will teach are required to be competent in delivering material both theory and practice in welding engineering subjects at the Technology Vocational School in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. do to welding engineering subject teachers at SMKN 2 Bandung stating that prospective teachers teaching Productive Subjects of Welding Techniques have little difficulty with certain materials. Referring to the problem, the researcher conducts research with the aim of knowing the results of the material relevance of the subject of welding techniques and material on the productive subject of welding techniques at the technology vocational school. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach comparing the vocabulary syllabus of welding engineering expertise and syllabus of Basic & Advanced Welding Engineering Courses at the DPTM FPTK UPI so that the relevance between the two is sought. The results of the study show that the subject matter of Basic & Advanced Welding Engineering is relevant to the subject matter of Welding Engineering in Vocational High Schools resulting in a relevance level of 69% with the relevant category. Based on the results of this study, prospective teachers can help implement optimal learning by providing illustrations of the application of welding techniques to students
