Summary:Hasil studi pendahuluan, masih terdapat banyak permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran praktikum mata kuliah mikrobiologi pangan di Laboratorium Pengawasan Mutu Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri FPTK-UPI. Salah satu permasalahan tersebut adalah keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana seperti ruang laboratorium, peralatan-peralatan praktikum, bahan-bahan praktikum, serta biaya operasional laboratorium yang mahal. Solusi alternatif yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan keterbatasan tersebut yaitu melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komputer dengan pengembangan laboratorium virtual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan Laboratorium Virtual Mikrobiologi Pangan (LVMP) yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating). Setelah dihasilkan LVMP, kemudian Laboratorium tersebut diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah mikrobiologi pangan untuk mengetahui peningkatan high order thinking skill mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode pre-experiment dengan desain the one-group pretest-posttest. Dari hasil penerapan model ADDIE diperoleh data validasi ahli (ahli media dan ahli materi) dan respon mahasiswa. Secara umum, LVMP ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Dari hasil implementasi LVMP pada proses pembelajaran praktikum menunjukkan adanya peningkatan high order thinking skill mahasiswa dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,76 (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian, penggunaan LVMP sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan high order thinking skill mahasiswa pada mata kuliah mikrobiologi pangan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri FPTK-UPI.;---From the results of preliminary studies, there are many problems on the implementation of practical learning courses on food microbiology at the Laboratory of Quality Supervision of the Agroindustry Technology Education Study Program of the FPTK-UPI there are still many problems. One of these problems is the limited facilities and infrastructure such as laboratory rooms, practicum equipment, practicum materials, and expensive laboratory operating costs. Alternative solutions offered to overcome the problem of limitations are through the use of information technology and computers with the development of virtual laboratories. The purpose of this study was to produce a Food Microbiology Virtual Laboratory (LVMP) which was developed using ADDIE (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating) models. After LVMP is produced, the Laboratory is then implemented in the practicum of food microbiology courses to determine the increase in high order thingking skills of students by using the pre-experiment method with the one-group pretest-posttest design. From the results of applying the ADDIE model, expert validation data (media experts and material experts) and student responses were obtained. In general, this LVMP is suitable for use as a learning medium. From the results of LVMP implementation in the practicum learning process shows an increase in high order thinking skills of students with an N-Gain value of 0.76 (high category). Thus, the use of LVMP is very effective in increasing students' high order thinking skills in the subject of food microbiology in the FPTK-UPI Agro-Industry Technology Education Study Program.
