Summary:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi yang dilakukan karena adanya keterbatasan faktor-faktor implementasi kurikulum terutama keberadaan guru mata pelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (PKWU). Evaluasi dilakukan pada tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi dengan model kesenjangan (discrepancy evaluation model) yang dikembangkan oleh Provus. Pengumpulan dan analisis data menggunakan metode campuran (sequential explanatory mix method design). Populasi penelitian adalah SMAN se-Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta sementara sampel penelitian difokuskan pada empat SMAN yang dipilih dengan pertimbangan tertentu (purposive sampling). Responden penelitian berjumlah 135, terdiri dari 126 peserta didik, empat guru PKWU, empat kepala sekolah dan satu pengawas sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi kurikulum 2013 mata pelajaran PKWU pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi telah mencapai kategori tinggi dengan kesenjangan sangat rendah. Tingginya capaian tersebut sebagai hasil rencana implementasi kurikulum yang disusun dan dilaksanakan oleh Kemendikbud, sikap guru terhadap rencana implementasi, dukungan kepala sekolah, dukungan teman sejawat, ketersediaan pedoman dan peraturan implementasi, format dan penyajian kurikulum yang sederhana dan fleksibel, adanya motivasi guru, dukungan bahan ajar, ketersediaan fasilitas praktik, adanya motivasi siswa, pengkondisian iklim sekolah, partisipasi orang tua dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah. Kesenjangan terjadi karena guru belum mampu sepenuhnya mengembangkan komponen perencanaan pembelajaran, membimbing praktik dan melakukan evaluasi. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan indikator pencapaian kompetensi, rumusan penilaian, alokasi waktu, sumber belajar, merencanakan dan membimbing praktik serta kepastian pelaksanaan evaluasi sikap. This research is an evaluation research conducted because of the limitations of the curriculum implementation factors, especially the existence of teachers of craft and entrepreneurship subjects (PKWU). Evaluation is carried out at the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage with the discrepancy evaluation model developed by Provus. Data collection and analysis using a mixed method (sequential explanatory mix method design). The study population was high schools throughout the Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta while the study sample was focused on four state high schools selected with certain considerations (purposive sampling). The research subjects numbered 135 consisting of 126 students, four PKWU teachers, four school principals and one school supervisor. The results showed the implementation of the 2013 curriculum of PKWU subjects at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages had reached a high category with a very low gap. The high achievement was the result of the curriculum implementation plan prepared and implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture, teacher attitudes toward implementation plans, school principal support, peer support, availability of guidelines and implementation regulations, simple and flexible curriculum format and presentation, teacher motivation, material support adequate teaching, the availability of practical facilities, the existence of student motivation, school climate conditioning, the participation of parents and the community around the school. The results also showed that there were still gaps in the implementation of the curriculum, therefore efforts were needed to improve the achievement of implementation through increasing the professional competence of PKWU teachers, especially in carrying out practices in the laboratory.
