| Summary: | Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Sekolah terhadap pemanfaatan fitur SMS (Short Message Service) dan mengetahui tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan bagian akademik sekolah setelah memanfaatkan sistem ini. Tahapan penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall process dan didapatkan data penelitian dari angket survey lapangan yang diberikan kepada kelas 6 dengan jumlah 117 siswa atau 20,3% dari jumlah siswa di sekolah tersebut. Rincian responden : 28 siswa kelas 6A, 32 siswa kelas 6B, 32 siswa kelas 6C dan 25 siswa kelas 6D serta wawancara kepada bagian akademik/guru pada tahap analisis, angket validasi ahli sistem yang diberikan kepada dosen dan guru, angket penilaian siswa terhadap sistem informasi nilai berbasis SMS. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil penyebaran angket yang diketahui bahwa harapan (Expectation) siswa dan bagian akademik sebesar 68,70% sementara hasil uji coba sistem (Performance) 78,39%. Dari berbagai aspek yang dipertanyakan dan dengan hasil rasio tingkat kepuasan adalah 1,14 bahwa pada penelitian ini, kepuasan layanan bagian akademik sekolah terhadap siswa terjadi peningkatan yang baik dan sangat memuaskan siswa. This Research and development (R&D) aims to develop a School Information System on the use of features SMS (Short Message Service) and determine the level of satisfaction of students to improve the quality of the academic school services after using this system. Phase of the research process using a waterfall model of development and research data obtained from the survey questionnaire given to the class' 6 with 117 students or 20.3% of the number of students in the school. Details of respondents: 28 student in class 6A, 32 students in class 6B, 32 students in class 6C and 25 students in classes 6D, as well as interviews to the academic / teacher at the analysis phase, the expert system validation questionnaire given to lecturers and teachers, and student assessment questionnaire to get value of information systems SMS-based. Dissemination of research results obtained from the questionnaire is known that the expectation students and the academic portion of 68.70%, while the test of system Performance 78.39%. From various aspects of the question and the level of satisfaction with the results of the ratio is 1.14 in this research, an increase in good and highly satisfactory services to the satisfaction of the academic school. |
