Hasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwa (1) pembelajaran IPS denganmenerapkanproject blog story di kelaseksperimenberpengaruhterhadapmengemukakanpendapatpesertadidik ; (2) pembelajaran IPS di kelaskontrol yang tidakmenerapkanproject blog story tidakmemilikipengaruh yang lebihbesardibandingkandengankelaseksperimen ; (3) terdapatperbedaan yang signifikanantarahasilpenelitian di kelaseksperimendan di kelaskontrol. Perbedaantersebutdiketahuidariadanyapeningkatan yang signifikanpadanilai rata-rata pre-test danpost-test kelaseskperimen yang menerapkanproject blog story. Kelaskontrol yang menerapkanpembelajarankonvensionalpeningkatan yang terjaditidakbegitusignifikan. Tingkat keterampilan yang didapatkandarihasilperhitungandiketahuibahwakelaseksperimenmendapatkanhasil yang lebihtinggi di semuaindikatorpenilaiandibandingkandengankelaskontrol;---The activity of offering opinion cannot only be done verbally but also through writing activities. The researcher chose a quasi-experimental study with the blog story project learning model which became the independent variable. The purpose of this study was to know the impact of the blog story project on the creativity of writing in the experimental class and control class and to know the difference between the results of the study of both classes. The research sample was taken with purposive sampling technique which two classes in grade VIII as experimental class and control class. The researcher employed Kolmogorov-Smirnov test of normality as an analysis technique and hypothesis testing with T-Test. The results showed that (1) social science learning by applying the blog story project in the experimental class had an impact on offering opinion of the students; (2) social science learning in the control class which did not implement the blog story project did not have a greater impact than the experimental class; (3) there were significant differences between the results of research in the experimental class and in the control class. These distinctions were found from the significant increase in the average score of pre-test and post-test experimental class that applied the blog story project. The control class that implemented conventional learning did not have significant increase. The skill level obtained from the calculation result showed that the experimental class got higher result in all assessment indicators compared to the controlclass
