Metode yang digunakanyaitumetodepenelitiandeskriptif. Sampeldalampenelitianinimenggunakantekniksimple random sampling yaitumahasiswa Program StudiKriyaTekstildan Mode Universitas Telkom padaangkatan 2016 denganmelaluipertimbanganyaitumahasiswa yang telahmengikutimatakuliahperancangantekstildanfesyen digital berjumlah 60 orang.Instrumenpenelitian yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahberupaangket. Hasilpenelitianmenunjukkanlebihdarisetengahnyamahasiswamerasakanmanfaathasilbelajarperancangantekstildanfesyen digital yang dapatmemberikanbekalpengetahuandanketerampilankepadamahasiswasebagaikesiapanmenjadidesainer digital printing tekstilditinjaudariindikatorpemahamankonsepdasargraphic design softwaremeliputiCorelDraw danAdobe Photoshop, teknikpembuatan motifmenggunakanCorelDrawdanAdobe Photoshop, sertateknikpembuatandrapping(pemberianwarnaatau motif) padasketsa model dan model fotomenggunakanAdobe Photoshop;---The development of digital technology such as computers and digital printing machines in the textile industry makes it easy for digital printing textile designers to produce textile products with a variety of motifs in a shorter time, the number of colors and sizes of motifs are unlimited, and the motifs designed can be realized in various types of textiles. The purpose of this study was to obtain data about the learning outcomes benefits of textile and fashion digital design as readiness into digital printing textile designers. The method used is descriptive research method.The sample in this study used simple random sampling technique, namely college students of Textile and Fashion Craft Study Program at Telkom University in 2016 through consideration that college students who have attended lessontextile and fashion digital design amounted to 60 people. The research instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The results showed more than half of the college students felt the learning outcomes benefits of textile and fashion digital design that can provide college students with knowledge and skills as a readiness to become a digital printing textile designers in terms of an understanding indicator of the basic concepts of graphic design software including CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop, motif making techniques using CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop, and drapping (giving colors or motifs) making techniques to sketches of models and photo models using Adobe Photoshop.
