Summary: | Memasuki abad ke 21 negara berkembang seperti Indonesia harus memfasilitasi kemampuan siswa untuk menyiapkan siswa agar dapat bersaing secara global di masa yang akan datang. Project Oriented Problem Based Learning sebagai model pembelajaran dengan integrasi antara PjBl dan PBL mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah secara kreatif dan paham akan inti permasalahan. Bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak dari model pembelajaran POPBL terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kreatifitas siswa dalam topic polusi udara. Peneliti menggunakan Quasi Experiment dengan 54 siswa kelas 7 sebagai sampel penelitian. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan beberapa instrument diantaranya soal, rubric CPAM, lembar observasi, dan kuisioner. Data diolah dengan menggunakan Anatest dan IBM Statistik versi 23.0. Untuk hasill Independent T-Test yang telah dilakukan untuk membaningkna penguasaan konsep siswa antara kelas kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan terhadap nilai kelas control (M = 5.24, SD = 9.91) dan kelas eksperimen (M = 7.59, SD = 6.35; t (-1036), p = 0.305, two tailed. Dari 95% Interval keyakinan untuk perbedaan berarti berkisar -6.895 hingga 2.199. Untuk hasil dari data kreatifitas menunjukkan kelas eksperien mendapat nilai persentase lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas control.. Implementasi dari POPBL pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan hasil yang efektif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.. Seluruh siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap model pembelajaran POPBL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model POPBL tidak signifikan berpengaruh pada penguasaan konsep tetepai POPBL signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kreatifitas siswa dibandingkan dengan kelas control. POPBL model dapat menjadi salah satu inovasi model belajar-mengajar yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Entering the 21st century, developing country such as Indonesia needs to facilitate students' skills to prepare student to compete in the global area. Project Oriented Problem Based Learning with integration between Project Based Learning and Problem Based Learning is expected to improve students' ability to solve problems creatively. The research aims to investigate the effect of POPBL on students' concept mastery and students' creativity in learning Environmental Pollution. This research study used Quasi-Experiment as a research method with pretest and posttest design. There are 54 students in 7th grade for 27 students on control class and 27 students as the subject on experiment.The researcher collected the data through the instruments which are objective test, CPAM rubric, observation sheet, and questionnaire. To checked the validity, reliability, discriminating power, distraction of objective test was processed by Anatest while and IBM Statistic version 23.0 for tested homogeneity, normality, and independent t-test. For the Independent t-test results was conducted to compare students' concept mastery between control and experiment class. There was no significant difference in scores for control class (M = 5.24, SD = 9.91) and experiment class (M = 7.59, SD = 6.35; t (-1036), p = 0.305, two tailed). The 95% confidence interval for difference means ranging -6.895 to 2.199. Moreover, for creativity result, the data showed resullt that experiment class got higher percentage compared to control class. The implementation of POPBL in experiment class showed effectively activity. the students gave positive response through the POPBL model implementation. Based on the results, the POPBL model has no significant effect on the mastery of students 'concepts but the POPBL model influences students' creativity compared to the control class.
