Summary:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan memvalidasi instrumen Islamic Leadership guru dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan classical test theory dan item response theory. Islamic Leadership guru merupakan kemampuan guru memengaruhi peserta didik yang berlandaskan sifat siddiq, amanah, tabligh dan fathonah untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan bersama terlihat pada kegiatan pengambilan keputusan, kegiatan instruktif, kegiatan partisipatif, kegiatan konsultatif, dan kegiatan delegatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dari 304 guru SD, SMP, dan SMA di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Instrumen Islamic Leadership guru dalam proses pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai alat ukur yang baik dilihat dari reliabilitas, validitas, dan daya beda baik berdasarkan classical test theory maupun item response theory; dan (2) Instrumen Islamic Leadership guru dalam proses pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, dilihat dari perbedaan jenis kelamin, usia, pengalaman mengajar, tingkat pendidikan terakhir, mata pelajaran yang diampu serta berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan peserta didik yang diampu oleh guru tersebut tidak memengaruhi skor yang dicapai responden, namun pada item-item tertentu terdapat bias antara karakteristik tertentu. This study aims to design and validate the Islamic Leadership instrument of teacher in the learning process using a classical test theory and item response theory. Islamic Leadership of teacher is the ability of teachers to influence the students based on nature of siddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathonah to achieve a common goal which is seen in making decision activities, instructive activities, participatory activities, consultative activities and delegative activities in the learning process. This study using Research and Development (R&D) method with a quantitative approach. Data were obtained from 304 elementary, middle and high school teachers in Bandung Regency. The results of this study is: (1) the Islamic Leadership Instrument of teacher in the learning process has been developed and fulfill the criteria as a good measurement of tool which is seen from reliability, validity and t-test based on classical test theory and item response theory; (2) Teacher's Islamic Leadership Instrument in the developed learning process from the difference in gender, age, teaching experience, level of education, subjects taught and based on the level of students education does not affect the score which achieved by the respondents, but between certain items and certain characteristics there is a pre-determinate.
