Summary:Skripsi ini meneliti tentang perbedaan tingkat profesionalisme guru dan kualitas proses pembelajaran berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan sarjana guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat profesionalisme guru dan kualitas proses pembelajaran berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan sarjana guru yang berbeda yakni Sarjana Pendidikan Teknik (S.Pd), Sarjana Teknik (ST), dan Sarjana Sains Terapan (SST) di SMK program studi keahlian Teknik Elektronika dan Ketenagalistrikan di Kota Cimahi, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara profesionalisme guru dengan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru mata pelajaran produktif dari SMK program studi keahlian teknik elektronika dan ketenagalistrikan di Kota Cimahi. Sampel diambil berdasarkan cluster random sampling dan diambil secara proporsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat profesionalisme guru dan kualitas proses pembelajaran antara guru yang berlatar belakang pendidikan S.Pd, ST, dan SST. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara profesionalisme guru dengan kualitas proses pembelajaran di SMK program studi keahlian Teknik Elektronika dan Ketenagalistrikan di Kota Cimahi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat profesionalisme guru dan kualitas proses pembelajaran guru dengan berbagai latar belakang pendidikan kesarjanaannya di SMK Program Studi Keahlian Teknik Elektronika dan Ketenagalistrikan di Kota Cimahi sudah termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, namun para guru harus terus melakukan profesionalisasi diri agar kualitas proses pembelajaran terus meningkat. This paper examines the differences in the level of professionalism of teachers and the quality of learning process based on the educational background of graduate teachers. The purpose of this study was to determined the differences in the level of professionalism of teachers and the quality of learning process based on educational background which is different educational backgrounds degree, there are Bachelor of Engineering Education (S.Pd), Bachelor of Engineering (ST), and a Bachelor of Applied Science (SST) in SMK of Electronics Engineering and Electrification in Cimahi, and to investigate the relationship between teacher professionalism with quality learning. This research used descriptive comparative research methods with quantitative approach as a method. The population on this reseach used teachers learning from SMK of Electronics Engineering and Electrification in Cimahi as a subject. Samples were taken by cluster random sampling and taken proportionally. The results showed that there was no difference in the level of professionalism of teachers and the quality of learning between teacher educational background S.Pd, ST, and SST. In addition, there is a positive and significant relationship between the professionalism of teachers and the quality of learning in SMK of Electronics Engineering and Electrification in Cimahi. The research findings indicate that the level of professionalism of teachers and the quality of the learning process of teachers with diverse backgrounds in SMK of Electronics Engineering and Electrification in Cimahi is very good, but the teachers have to keep doing professionalization by themselves for increase the quality of learning process.
