Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali informasi data lulusan KBK Otomotif S1 karena belum dilakukannya penelusuran oleh DPTM FPTK UPI mengenai sebaran lulusan KBK Otomotif S1 tahun angkatan 2009-2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil data akurat sebaran lulusan yang belum ada sebelumnya untuk membantu mendapatkan informasi dan memperoleh gambaran pengembangan DPTM pada dunia kerja yaitu dengan cara Tracer Study. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif karena memberikan gambaran terhadap sebaran lulusan yang diteliti melalui data sampel atau populasi sebagaimana adanya. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 201 orang, namun untuk pengisian instrumen hanya diambil dari sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 67 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket. Angket dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji validasi ahli kepada salahsatu Dosen Otomotif sesuai pakarnya yang menyatakan layak digunakan untuk mengambil data. Berdasarkan hasil angket diperoleh sebanyak 34,3% menjadi tenaga pendidik, 47,8% bekerja di industri, 11,9% melanjutkan Studi, 3% wirausaha dan 3% belum bekerja. Lama masa tunggu mendapat pekerjaan yaitu 40,3% < 3 bulan, 32,8% 3-6 bulan, 22,4% 6-12 bulan, 4,5% > 12 bulan. Pada aspek penghasilan sebanyak 14,9% belum mendapatkan UMP dan sebanyak 64,2% sudah mendapatkan UMP. Lama studi lulusan sebanyak 4,5% selama 4 tahun, dan 37,3% sampai 43,3% menyelesaikan selama 5-7 tahun. Sebagian besar lulusan yaitu sebesar 82,1% mampu memenuhi kriteria syarat penerimaan kerja (3,00 - 3,50). Kerelevansian kompetensi dengan dunia kerja yaitu 85,1% lulusan menyatakan sangat relevan dan 14,9% lulusan menyatakan tidak relevan. Kesimpulannya adalah telah diperoleh data akurat tentang informasi dunia kerja lulusan KBK Otomotif Program Studi PTM UPI tahun angkatan 2009-2013 sehingga DPTM mempunyai data akurat tentang informasi dunia kerja lulusan.----- This research was conducted to gather information data from alumnus of the Automotive KBK S1 because there had not been any traceability by PTM UPI regarding the alumnus of Automotive KBK S1 in 2009-2013. This study aims to obtain accurate results of alumnus data that are not yet available to assist the development of DPTM in the world of work and accreditation by means of Tracer Study. This research uses descriptive because it provides an overview of the object be inspected through sample data or population as it is. the instrument was only taken as a sample of 67 respondents from the population in this research, which was 201 people The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Questionnaires in this research were first tested by expert validation to one of the Automotive Lecturers according to experts who stated that it was appropriate to be used to retrieve data. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained as much as 34.3% become educators, 47.8% work in the industry, 11.9% continue their studies, 3% entrepreneurship and 3% not yet working. The waiting time which is 40.3% < 3 month, 32.8% 3-6 month, 22.4% 6-12 month and 4.5% >12 month. In the aspect of income as much as 14.9 has not received the UMP and as much as 64.2% have received the UMP. The length of study for graduates is 4.5% to graduate with a 4-year study period, and 37.3% to 43.3% completing a 5-7 year study period. Most alumnus are 82.1% able to reach the criteria for employment acceptance (3.00 - 3.50). Competency relevance with the world of work of most alumnus states that it is very relevant that is equal to 85.1% and states that it is irrelevant a small portion of 14.9%. The conclusion is that accurate data about the world work information of graduates of the KBK Automotive Study Program of the UPI Study Program in the 2009-2013 year has been obtained so that the DPTM has accurate data on graduate work information.
