Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai adanya dominasi dalam pengambilan keputusan keluarga yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat penghasilan yang berbeda atara suami dan istri dan adanya pergeseran dalam peran antara suami dan istri di Kecamatan Pamengpeuk. Penelitian ini akan menjelaskan, faktor pendorong wanita atau istri untuk bekerja, bagaimana peran perempuan yang bekerja dalam mengambil keputusan keluarga, dan dampak dari pergeseran, peran antara suami dan stri terhadap keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Faktor faktor pendorong wanita atau istri untuk bekerja. (2) Perempuan yang bekerja dalam mendominasi keputusan keluarga karena adanya kontribusi ekonomi yang besar. (3) Dampak pergeseran peran antara suami dan istri terhadap keluarga salah satunya timbul kecurigaan, konflik, dan anak yang bertingkah tidak sesuai norma keluarga. This study examines the dominance in family decision making which is influenced by different levels of income between husband and wife and a shift in the role between husband and wife in Pamengpeuk District. This study will explain, the factors driving women or wives to work, how the role of women who work in making family decisions, and the impact of shifting, the role between husband and staff to the family. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of observation, interviews, documentation studies. The results of the study show (1) the factors driving women or wives to work. (2) Women who work in dominating family decisions because of a large economic contribution. (3) The impact of shifting the role between husband and wife to the family, one of which arises suspicion, conflict, and children who behave not in accordance with family norms.
