Pembinaan anak tunarungu dalam berkomunikasi merupakan suatu cara atau usaha untuk mendidik anak tunarungu tersebut dapat terampil dalam berkomunikasi, karena anak tunarungu sama seperti anak biasa pada umunya yang perlu melakukan komunikasi untuk bersosialisasi dan berinteraksi. Hal tersebut merupakan tugas seorang guru, agar kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik tunarungu tersebut dapat berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh metode Pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik tunarungu kelas X di SMALB Negeri Cicendo. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah peserta didik kelas X.A SLB Negeri Cicendo yang berjumlah 8 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode cooperative script pada pada mata pelajaran IPS materi ruang dan interaksi antar ruang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik tunarungu kelas X.A di SMALB Negeri Cicendo. Hal itu terlihat dari peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik dalam berbagai sub variabel yang meliputi: a) pemahaman secara lisan, b) mendengarkan dengan baik dan seksama dan yang terakhir adalah c) menuliskan kembali. Secara umum varibel kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik pada saat pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan. Pertama, indikator menjelaskan pemahaman, nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 65.13 dan pada saat post test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82.50. Kedua indikator memperhatikan hasil pemahaman secara lisan, nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 70.00 dan pada saat post test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 83.63. Ketiga indikator kemampuan mendengarkan yang efektif, nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 66.88 dan pada saat post test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82.13. Keempat indikator menuliskan hasil analisis artikel, nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 67.13 dan pada saat post test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82.88, dan terakhir kelima indikator menuliskan hasil analisis lawan bicara, nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 66.85 dan pada saat post test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 83.75. Secara umum peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi verbal peserta didik tunarunggu atau Gain adalah sebesar 16.12, dan N-Gainnya sebesar 0.49, nilai tersebut berada pada kriteria sedang. Dari perhitungan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran coopetarive script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi verbal yang terdiri dari pemahaman secara lisan, mendengarkan dengan baik dan seksama dan yang terakhir adalah menuliskan kembali peserta didik tunarungu kelas X.A di SMALB Negeri Cicendo ----- Fostering deaf children in communication is a way or effort to educate deaf children to be skilled in communication, because deaf children are like ordinary children in general who need to communicate to socialize and interact. This is the duty of a teacher, so that the communication skills of these deaf students can develop. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of cooperative script learning methods on the communication skills of class X deaf students at Cicendo State Public High School. The subjects in this study were students of the Cicendo State XB SLB class of 8 students. The results of the study show that the application of the cooperative script method on social studies subjects to space and interaction between spaces can improve the communication skills of deaf class X.A students at Cicendo State Public High School. This can be seen from the increase in communication skills of students in various sub-variables which include: a) verbal understanding, b) listening carefully and thoroughly and finally c) rewriting. In general, the variable communication abilities of the students at the pretest and posttest increased. First, the indicator explains understanding, the average value of the pretest is 65.13 and when the post test increases to 82.50. Both indicators pay attention to the results of verbal comprehension, the average value of pretest is 70.00 and at post-test has increased to 83.63. The three indicators of effective listening ability, the average value of the pretest was 66.88 and at the post test it increased to 82.13. The four indicators write the results of the article analysis, the average value of the pretest is 67.13 and when the post test increases to 82.88, and finally the five indicators write the results of the analysis of the interlocutor, the average pretest value is 66.85 and at the post-test 83.75 . In general, the increase in verbal communication skills of students who are waiting or Gain is 16.12, and N-Gain is 0.49, the value is in the criteria of being. From these calculations, it can be concluded that there is an effect of coopetarive script learning methods on verbal communication skills consisting of verbal comprehension, listening well and carefully and the last is to rewrite deaf class X.A learners at Cicendo State Public High School.
