Summary: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya indikasi prestasi belajar siswa yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan gambaran kecerdasan emosional siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan gambaran prestasi belajar siswa, (3) memverifikasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X Jurusan Akuntansi di SMK Negeri se-Kota Bandung. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian survey, metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif, dan jenis penelitian desktiptif verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov, dan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji signifikansi (uji t). Hasil analisis korelasi digunakan untuk menganalisis jawaban dari responden yang memberikan hasil kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Besarnya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa adalah sebesar 2,92% dan sisanya 97,18% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain; This research was based on the indication of low students' achievement. This study was aimed to (1) explain description of students' emotional intelligence, (2) explain description of students' achievement, (3) verify the influence of emotional intelligence on students' achievement in grade x Accounting Department at public vocational high school in Bandung city. The design of this study was using survey research, quantitative research method, and descriptive verificative research types. The data collection techniques were using questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis tehniques were using descriptive analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test of normality, and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The test of research hypothesis was using significance test (t test). The results of correlation analysis was used to analyze the answers from respondents which showed that emotional intelligence had positive effect on students' achievement. The influence of emotional intelligence on students' achievement was 2,92% and the rest of 97,18% was caused by other factors. |
