Kesiapan kerja merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan diri memasuki dunia kerja. Mental dan sikap serta keterampilan, ilmu dan pengetahuan sangat menentukan kesiapan kerja seseorang. Untuk itu perlu adanya pengembangan dan peningkatan melalui pembekalan yang diberikan oleh sekolah baik itu dari segi mental dan sikap, keterampilan serta ilmu dan pengetahuan. Sehingga dengan adanya pembekalan yang baik maka siswa akan lebih siap bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Negeri 9 Garut Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Pemodelan Dan Informasi Bangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Ex-Post Facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrument penelitian menggunakan angket dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 responden dari 48 populasi yaitu kelas XII DPIB 1 dan XII DPIB 2 SMK Negeri 9 Garut. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari variabel kesiapan kerja dilihat dari per aspek adalah yang amat dominan yaitu aspek ilmu dan pengetahuan. Maka dapat digambarkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Negeri 9 Garut Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Pemodelan Dan Informasi Bangunan lebih dominan ke aspek ilmu dan pengetahuan, karena persentase aspek ilmu dan pengetahuan memiliki persentase yang sangat tinggi.--------Work readiness is one of the most important things to prepare yourself to enter the workforce. Mental and attitude, skills, and knowledge greatly determine the readiness of one's work. For this reason, it is necessary to develop and improve through the training provided by the school both in terms of mentality and attitudes, skills and knowledge and knowledge. So that with good debriefing, students will be better prepared to work. This study aims to find out an overview of the readiness of work for students of 9 Garut in modeling design and building information competencies. This research is an Ex-Post Facto study with a quantitative approach. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a total sample of 33 respondents from 48 populations namely class XII DPIB 1 and XII DPIB 2 SMK Negeri 9 Garut. The results of the research obtained from the work readiness variable seen from each aspect are very dominant, namely aspects of science and knowledge. Then it can be illustrated that based on the calculation of work readiness in 9 Garut the competence of modeling design skills and building information is more dominant in aspects of science and knowledge, because the percentage of aspects of science and knowledge has a very high percentage.
