This research is conducted in the framework of the development of French Hotels Teaching Materials for the process of learning French in the Vocational High School. This study aims to describe: (1) learning materials that is in accordance with standar competencies and basi competencies in French curriculum for the Vocational High School;(2) the steps of developing French Hotels Teaching Materials to be used as Teaching Materials for the students in the Vocational High School(3) the students and the teachers responses regarding the French Hotels Teaching Materials for the Vocational High School. This research employs the theory of writing teaching materials by Arsyad (2011). The researcher uses a development research methodology (Research & Development) with research design by Richey and Klein (2007). The population in this study is all the learning material of French Hotels in accordance with the needs of French Hotels in the Vocational High School. Based on the questionnaire of the lecturer's response, the researcher can conclude that teaching materials developed by researcher are very useful and needed for both teachers and students. Besides that, based on the questionnaire given to the students, we can conclude the teaching materials made by researcher are very interesting. The results of this research are expected to facilitate and increase the motivation of French language learners and professionals.----------Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka menyusun bahan ajar bahasa Prancis perhotelan untuk proses pembelajaran bahasa Prancis di tingkat SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) materi-materi yang sesuai dengan SK & KD dalam kurikulum bahasa Prancis untuk SMK; (2) tahapan pengembangan bahan ajar Bahasa Prancis Perhotelan untuk dipakai sebagai bahan belajar peserta didik di SMK; (3) tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap Bahan Ajar Bahasa Prancis Perhotelan untuk SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penyusunan bahan ajar dari Arsyad (2011). Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan desain penelitian dari Richey dan Klein (2007). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Bahan Ajar Bahasa Prancis Perhotelan untuk SMK yang sesuai kebutuhan bahasa Prancis di SMK dan sampelnya adalah sebagian materi Bahan Ajar Bahasa Prancis Perhotelan untuk SMK yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kegiatan belajar mengajar bahasa Prancis di SMK. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan penyebaran angket yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung, diketahui bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan peneliti sangat bermanfaat dan dibutuhkan bagi guru maupun siswa. Selain itu berdasarkan angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dibuat oleh peneliti sangat menarik. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi dan meningkatkan motivasi pembelajar bahasa Prancis dan para profesional.
