Summary:Serangga merupakan makanan utama bagi hampir semua jenis anura. Katak Pohon Jawa (Rhacophorus margaritifer) dan Katak Terbang Hijau (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) merupakan dua spesies simpatrik endemik Pulau Jawa yang dapat ditemukan di Kawasan Ranca Upas Ciwidey, Jawa Barat. Habitat Katak Pohon Jawa (Rhacophorus margaritifer) merupakan pinggiran sungai yang terdapat dalam hutan heterogen sedangkan Katak Terbang Hijau (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) ditemukan di habitat sekitar genangan air di luar hutan heterogen. Menurut IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), Katak Pohon Jawa (Rhacophorus margaritifer) dikategorikan ke dalam status Least Concern (LC) sedangkan Katak Terbang Hijau (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) dikategorikan ke dalam status Near Threatened (NT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serangga ditemukan pada habitat Katak Pohon Jawa (Rhacophorus margaritifer) dan Katak Terbang Hijau (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) di Kawasan Ranca Upas Ciwidey, Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan selama tiga bulan pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2018. Pengambilan data keanekaragaman serangga dengan metode perangkap cahaya yang dipasang di habitat Katak Pohon Jawa (Rhacophorus margaritifer) dan Katak Terbang Hijau (Rhacophorus reinwardtii). Pengambilan data dilakukan tiga hari sekali pada malam hari pukul 19.00 - 23.00. Nilai keanekaragaman familia serangga dihitung menggunakan indeks Shannon Wienner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis serangga pada habitat Rhacophorus margaritifer memiliki nilai keanekaragaman lebih tinggi dengan H'=2,35 dibandingkan dengan habitat Rhacophorus reinwardtii dengan H'=1,97. Ordo serangga yang paling banyak ditemukan pada kedua habitat adalah Diptera. Ordo Dyctioptera dan Neuroptera hanya ditemukan pada habitat Rhacophorus margaritifer saja.; Insects are the main diet for most of anuran. Javan Tree Frogs (Rhacophorus margaritifer) and Green Flying Frogs (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) are two sympatric endemic species of Java Island that both can be found in the Ranca Upas Ciwidey, West Java. Javan Tree Frog (Rhacophorus margaritifer) is found alongside the river while Green Flying Frog (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) is found around the puddles. According to the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), the Javan Tree Frog (Rhacophorus margaritifer) is categorized as Least Concern (LC) while the Green Flying Frog (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) is categorized as Near Threatened (NT). This study aims to describes the insects that found in Javan Tree Frogs (Rhacophorus margaritifer) and Green Flying Frogs (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) habitats in the Ranca Upas Ciwidey, West Java. The study was conducted for three months from March to May 2018. Insects were collected with light trap methods installed in the habitat both Javan Tree Frogs (Rhacophorus margaritifer) and Green Flying Frogs (Rhacophorus reinwardtii). Data collection is carried out every three days at 7:00 - 11:00 P.M. The insect diversity value was calculated using the Shannon Wienner index. The results showed that insect diversity in the Rhacophorus margaritifer habitat had a higher value with H '= 2.35 compared to Rhacophorus reinwardtii habitat with H' = 1.97. The most insect order that found in both habitats were Diptera. Dyctioptera and Neuroptera were both only found in Rhacophorus margaritifer habitat.
