520 |a Limitations of the use of instructional media often still occur in the teaching and learning process that can affect student learning outcomes, because of that the new learning media are needed which can trigger the student learning. The purpose of this study are: 1) Looking for the feasibility of a deleveloped visual novel learning media; 2) Looking for learning outcomes after implementing visual novel learning media. The method in this study are divided into two parts: 1) The method for media development is Watrerfall model; and 2) The method for determine student learning outcomes after the implementation of visual novel learning media is quasi experimental design. The data collection in this study was carried out through a questionnaire and observation. The results are as follows: 1) The result of validation media are; The media expert judgment declare "sangat layak", the materi and test expert judgment declare "sangat layak" and verbal expert judgment declare "sangat layak"; 2) The application of learning media by using quasi experimental design method shows the results that the student in experiment class which uses the visual novel as media learning get the better results than class control which uses power point as media learning.
