520 | |a Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan habit of thinking flexibly matematis siswa melalui pembelajaran Inquiry Co-operation Model (ICM), karena temuan penelitian sebelumnya mengidentifikasi bahwa siswa masih kurang memiliki kemampuan untuk membentuk prestasi yang baik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Disamping itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan habit of thinking flexibly matematis yang memperoleh pembelajaran ICM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MTsN kelas VIII di salah satu MTsN di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, Provinsi Sumatera Barat tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak terhadap kelas populasi, sehingga diperoleh kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran ICM dan kelompok kontrol yang diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) secara keseluruhan, pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ICM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung; b) berdasarkan kategori KAM tinggi, sedang dan rendah, pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ICM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung dengan kategori KAM yang sama; c) pencapaian habit of thinking flexibly antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ICM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung; d) terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan habit of thinking flexibly matematis. This study aims to determine the achievement of students' mathematical problem solving ability and mathematical habit of flexibly thinking through Inquiry Co-operation Model (ICM) learning, because findings of previous research identified that students still lack the ability to achieve good achievements in mathematics learning. In addition, this study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between problem solving ability and mathematical habit of thinking flexibly that obtains ICM learning. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTsN in one MTsN in Lima Puluh Kota District, Sumatera Barat Province 2019/2020. The sample selection was conducted randomly against the population class, so that the experimental group is given the treatment of ICM learning and the control group was given the treatment of direct learning. The results showed that: a) as a whole, the achievement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities that obtained ICM learning was higher than students who obtained direct learning; b) based on the high, medium and low KAM categories, the achievement of mathematical problem solving ability of students who obtained ICM learning was higher than students who obtained direct learning with the same KAM category; c) the achievement of habit of thinking flexibly among students who received ICM learning was higher than students who obtained direct learning; d) there was a relationship between mathematical problem solving abilities with mathematical habit of thinking flexibly.
