Analisis Fungsi Infobox dalam Buku Ajar Netzwerk A1

Summary

Buku ajar tidak hanya digunakan oleh peserta didik ketika pembelajaran berlangsung di kelas, tetapi bisa juga digunakan oleh peserta didik ketika belajar mandiri. Dalam buku ajar Netzwerk A1 terdapat beberapa fitur yang menunjang pembelajaran mandiri, salah satunya Infobox yang memuat Info, Strategie, dan Lerntipp. Infobox dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik untuk memperkaya kosakata, memahami tata bahasa, mempelajari strategi, serta mengetahui tips mempelajari kosakata maupun tata bahasa. Dalam penelitian ini dianalisis fungsi Infobox dalam buku ajar Netzwerk A1. Analisis ini dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan Infobox oleh peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengklasifikasi jenis Infobox, 2) menganalisis cakupan materi Infobox, serta 3) mendeskripsikan kesesuaian cakupan strategi yang disajikan dalam Infobox dengan Gemeinsamer Europäischer Referenzrahmen (GER). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan temuan sebagai berikut: 1) terdapat 57 Infobox yang terbagi ke dalam 3 jenis Infobox, yaitu dalam Kursbuch ditemukan Info (12), Strategie (11) dan Lerntipp (10), sedangkan pada Arbeitsbuch, yaitu Info (10), Strategie (11) dan Lerntipp (3); 2) ditemukan sebanyak 4 cakupan materi dalam Infobox, yaitu Sprachertigkeiten, Grammatik, Wortschatz dan Landeskunde; 3) terdapat 2 cakupan strategi pada Infobox yang sesuai dengan GER, yaitu Lernstrategien dan Prüfungsstrategie. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan pembahasan mengenai strategi serta menguji efektivitas dari strategi-strategi yang terdapat dalam Infobox. Teaching materials are not only used by students when the learning process takes place in class, but can also be used by the students when they learn independently. In the textbook Netzwerk A1 there are several functions that support the independent learning process. One of them is the info box that contains information, strategy, and learning tips. The info box can be used by students to enrich vocabulary, understand grammar, learn strategies, and get some tips on learning vocabulary and grammar. In this study, the function of the info box in the textbook Netzwerk A1 was analyzed. This analysis is aimed to optimize the use of the info box for students. The purpose of this study is to 1) classify the types of the info box, 2) analyze the scope of the info box materials, and 3) describe the suitability of the strategies presented in the info box to the Common European Framework of References (CEFR). The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. According to this study, the results were found as follows: 1) There are 57 info boxes, which are divided into 3 types of info boxes, namely info found in course book (12), strategy (11) and learning tip (10), while in work book, namely info (10), strategy (11) and learning tip (3); 2) There are 4 themes found in the info box, namely language skills, grammar, vocabulary and regional studies; 3) Infobox covers two strategies, namely learning strategies and examination strategies that correspond to the CEFR. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for the further research to develop a discussion about strategies and to test the effectiveness of the strategies contained in the Infobox.
