520 | |a Interest in learning is one of the elements needed in learning activities as a strong driver of achievement. The existence of interest in learning is influenced by internal factors and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal and external factors on students' interest in learning geography. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research variables were internal and external factors of students as variable X, interest in learning as variable Y.The population in this case were students at SMA Negri Kota Bandung and the sample in this study were 280 students who took geography learning spread out of 8 zoning . The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the Kosmogorov-Smirnov normality test, the Levene homogeneity test, the t test and the F test. The results showed (1) the influence of internal factors of students on interest in learning geography obtained a percentage of 53% with high criteria (2) the effect External factors of students on interest in learning geography get a percentage of 54% with high criteria (3) there is an influence of internal and external factors on interest in learning geography with a test result value of Sig. 000 <0.05, so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected . In conclusion, internal factors and external factors of students are very influential on students' interest in learning geography. | ||
