PENGARUH KOMPETENSI TERHADAP KINERJA ARSIPARIS DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN DAERAH PROVINSI JAWA Melihat peran pentingnya arsiparis dalam sebuah perusahaan yaitu dalam melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan arsip untuk menunjang kelangsungan kegiatan perusahaan yang ada, maka penurunan kinerja arsiparis menjadi permasalahan yang perlu dikaji. Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan oleh peneliti yaitu kinerja yang dihasilkan oleh arsiapris tidak mencapai target yang sudah ditetapkan perusahaan dan mengalami penurunan dari tahun sebelumnya, hal ini menjadi indikasi permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Penulisan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai tingkat beserta pengaruh antara kompetensi dan kinerja arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode yang dilakukan oleh penulis yaitu menggunakan metode eksplanatory survey. Dimana penulis menggunakan angket yang didistribusikan kepada 38 arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kemudian, Teknik analisis data yang diambil oleh penulis yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. dan peneliti menggunakan Grand Theory perilaku organisasi dari Robbins and Judge. Dari hasil penelitian memperoleh temuan yaitu: (1) gambaran kompetensi arsiparis berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) gambaran kinerja arsiparis berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) kompetensi mempengaruhi kinerja secara positif dan signifikan. Hubungan kedua variabel tersebut menempati kategori kuat, yaitu sebesar 0,712. Kemudian, berdasarkan perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa kinerja arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat dipengaruhi kompetensi sebesar 51% sedangkan faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja sebesar 49%. Dari temuan yang didapatkan, penulis memperolah kesimpulan yaitu terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi terhadap kinerja arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat . THE EFFECT OF COMPETITION ON ARCHIVIST PERFORMANCE AT DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN DAERAH PROVINSI JAWA BARAT Seeing the important role of archivists in a company that is in carrying out archival management activities to support the continuity of existing company activities, the decline in archival performance is an issue that needs to be studied. One of the problems found by researchers is that the performance generated by arsiapris did not reach the target set by the company and decreased from the previous year, this is an indication of the problem to be studied. The writing of this research is intended to find out a description of the level and the effect of competence and performance of archivists in the West Java Provincial Library and Archives Service. The method used by the author is using the explanatory survey method. Where the authors use a questionnaire that is distributed to 38 archivists in the Regional Library and Archives Service in West Java Province. Then, the data analysis technique taken by the author is simple regression analysis. and researchers use the Grand Theory organizational behavior from Robbins and Judge. From the results of the study obtained findings, namely: (1) the competence's archivist is in the high category, (2) the performance's archivist is in the high category, (3) competence influences performance positively and significantly. The relationship between these two variables occupies a strong category, which is 0.712. Then, based on simple regression analysis calculations show that the performance of archivists in the Department of Library and Regional Archives of West Java Province is influenced by 51% competency while other factors that affect performance by 49%. From the findings obtained, the authors obtain the conclusion that there is an influence between competence on the performance of archivists in the Library and Regional Archives Office of West Java Province
