Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sikap peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif yang menunjukan sikap yang belum siap untuk menjadi teknisi otomotif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran pekerjaan teknisi kendaraan ringan otomotif peserta didik Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif dan gambaran sikap peserta didik Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif terhadap pekerjaan teknisi kendaraan ringan otomotif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif yaitu sebanyak 92 peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling yang berjumlah 92 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data mengunakan metode kuesioner atau angket. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gambaran pengetahuan peserta didik terhadap pekerjaan teknisi kendaraan ringan otomotif berada pada kategori tinggi (81,52%) dan gambaran sikap peserta didik terhadap pekerjaan teknisi kendaraan ringan otomotif berada pada kategori tinggi (59,78%). The background of this study is the attitude of students at class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Program who are not ready to become automotive technicians. This study aims to determine the knowledge of Students towards the work of automotive light vehicle technicians and the attitude of Students Cisarua towards the work of automotive light vehicle technicians. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with statistical methods. The population of this study are all students at class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Program at amounting to 92 students used as respondents. The sample in this study used a total sampling of 92 students.Data collection using the questionnaire or questionnaire method. The research data were analyzed with descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS 17. The results of this study showed that the knowledge of Students of towards the work of automotive light vehicle technicians is in the high category (81.52%) and the attitude of Students towards the work of automotive light vehicle technicians is in the high category (59.78%).
