Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kehadiran industri di wilayah desa Andir yang kemudian mengakibatkan perubahan pada kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakatnya, kehadiran industri ini diharapkan dapat berdampak positif bagi kehidupan masyarakatnya. Namun apakah kehadiran industri ini mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dan kesejahteraannya dan apakah masyarakat mampu bergantung pada sektor industri dan mampu menghadapi segala perubahan yang hadir dalam kehidupan mereka akibat dari adanya industri tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak keberadaan industri terhadap perubahan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Andir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, dan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket atau kuesioner serta data sekunder dengan menggunakan teknik pengharkatan atau skoring BPS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kehadiran industri di pedesaan menimbulkan pro dan kontra dalam kehidupan masyarakat, berdampak kepada kehidupan masyarakatnya, mengakibatkan perubahan sosial pada kehidupan masyarakat Desa Andir. Perubahan yang nampak sekali adalah perubahan dalam bidang ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat. Perubahan dalam bidang ekonomi yaitu munculnya jenis pekerjaan baru, adanya spesialisasi dalam bidang pekerjaan, membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat. Dalam bidang sosial perubahan yang terjadi yaitu berkurangnya intensitas interaksi masyarakat dengan anggota keluarga dan masyarakat lainnya, serta kehidupan masyarakat yang dapat dikatakan sudah sejahtera berdasarkan pada delapan indikator kesejahteraan BPS. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu dapat diaplikasikan pembelajaran Sosiologi mengenai materi perubahan sosial dan masyarakat Desa Kota. Kata Kunci: Perubahan Sosial, Kesejahteraan, Industri THE IMPACT OF INDUSTRY EXISTENCE ON CHANGES IN COMMUNITY SOCIAL ECONOMIC CONDITIONS IN ANDIR VILLAGE JATIWANGI DISTRICT MAJALENGKA DISTRICT Dheandra Nurul Pratiwi 1602469 ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the presence of industry in the Andir village area which then results in changes in the socio-economic life of the community, the presence of this industry is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of its people. However, whether the presence of this industry is able to improve the people's economy and welfare and whether people are able to depend on the industrial sector and are able to face all changes that are present in their lives as a result of the existence of this industry. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of the existence of the industry on changes in the socio-economic conditions of the Andir Village community. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach, and for data collection using a questionnaire technique or a questionnaire as well as secondary data using BPS scoring or scoring techniques. The results of this study indicate that the presence of industry in the countryside raises pros and cons in people's lives, and has an impact on the lives of the people, resulting in social changes in the lives of the people of Andir Village. Changes that are very visible are changes in the economic and social fields of society. Changes in the economic sector, namely the emergence of new types of work, specialization in the field of work, opening up jobs for the community. In the social field the changes that occur are the reduced intensity of community interaction with family members and other communities, as well as community life that can be said to be prosperous based on the eight indicators of BPS welfare. The implication of this research is that sociology learning can be applied regarding the material of social change and the urban village community. Keywords: Social Change, Welfare, Industry
