Salah satu pendidikan pertama di Indonesia untuk siswa yaitu pendidikan dasar. Dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa sekolah dasar, ketepatan dan aplikasi kurikulum diwujudkan dalam bentuk buku. Buku yang menjadi pegangan siswa saat ini mengacu pada kurikulum 2013 yang memakai pendekatan saintifik. Pada pendidikan saat ini kesesuaian materi IPA dengan pendekatan saintifik belum sesuai. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut tujuan peneliti melakukan analisis buku siswa tematik kelas V SD untuk melihat sejauh mana pendekatan saintifik diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran buku siswa tematik kelas V SD. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini deskriptif analisis dengan melakukan pendekatan secara kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain analisis isi (content analisys). Penelitian ini menganalisis buku tematik kelas V SD semester 2 yang meliputi tema 6 Panas dan Perpindahannya, tema 7 Peristiwa Dalam Kehidupan, tema 8 Lingkungan Sahabat Kita dan tema 9 Benda-Benda di Sekitar Kita. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil observasi terhadap dokumen buku tematik kelas V SD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian materi IPA dengan pendekatan saintifik pada buku siswa tematik kelas V SD semester 2 ini memiliki kesesuian, namun proporsi indikator saintifik yang terdapat dalam buku siswa tematik kelas V SD semester 2 tidak seimbang. Peneliti memberikan rekomendasi meningkatkan kualitas buku siswa yang notabene sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang ada di sekolah dengan menyesuaikan materi IPA yang terdapat dalam buku siswa tematik kelas V SD dengan pendekatan saintifik. ----- Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that students can actively obtain optimal potential. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by using a qualitative approach. The research design used in this research is content analysis design. This study analyzes the thematic book of grade V Elementary School semester 2 which includes the theme 6 Heat and Its Displacement, the theme 7 Events in Life, the theme 8 Our Friends' Environment and the theme 9 Objects Around Us. thematic books for class V Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that the suitability of the science material with the scientific approach in the thematic books of grade V Elementary School semester 2 has a suitability, but the proportion of scientific indicators contained in the thematic books of grade V Elementary School semester 2 students is not balanced. Researchers provide recommendations for improving the quality of student books which in fact are a source of learning in the process of teaching and learning activities in schools by adjusting the science material contained in the thematic books of class V Elementary School with a scientific approach. |
