Dengan latar belakang seperti ini tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) memperoleh gambaran umum motivasi belajar siswa RSBI kelas XI SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013; (2) memperoleh gambaran motivasi belajar pada setiap indikator siswa RSBI kelas XI SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan angket untuk mengungkap motivasi belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 42 siswa dengan menggunakan Nonprobability Sampling jenis Sampling Jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar kategori motivasi belajar siswa RSBI kelas XI SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2012/2013 berada pada kategori sedang. Pencapaian indikator yang paling tinggi dimiliki oleh siswa adalah tingkatan aspirasi mengenai maksud, cita-cita, rencana, sasaran atau target yang hendak dicapai dengan kegiatan belajar yang dilakukan. sedangkan pencapaian indikator paling rendah yaitu arah sikap mengenai positif atau negatif terhadap kegiatan belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian direkomendasikan: (1) Pihak sekolah mampu bekerja sama (antara personil sekolah) dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa; (2) Guru BK dapat melakukan analisis kebutuhan (need assessment) lebih mendalam serta dapat menggunakan program bimbingan belajar yang telah disusun; (3) peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian serupa dengan menggunakan metode yang lebih beragam, melakukan penelitian dengan mengambil sampel penelitian yang lebih besar. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, RSBI, Bimbingan Belajar This research is based on the existence of phenomena which indicates that there is no optimum student learning motivation in the school. Due to this reason, the aims of this research are (1). to acquire the general description of student learning motivation of 10th grade SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung 2012/2013 (2) to acquire the student learning motivation in each RSBI student indicator of 10th grade SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung 2012/2013. To add more, this research used quantitative approach and used descriptive method. The technique of data collection is by using the questionnaire to discover the student learning motivation. The subjects of this research are 42 students by using Nonprobablity Sampling. The result of this research shows that most of the category of student learning motivation in RSBI 10th grade SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung 2012/2013 is in middle category. The highest indicator achieved by the students is aspiration levels of aims, goals, plans, and objectives. Whereas, the lowest indicator achieved by the students is way of behaving about positive or negative towards learning activity. Based on the research, there are several suggestions: 1. The school Is able to cooperate (between school's members) in the effort to increase the learning students motivation 2. The Counselor is able to analyze more the need (need assessment) and able to use counseling program arranged 3. The next researchers are able to conduct the similar research by using kinds of different methods and also conduct the research in larger sample. | ||
