Summary:ABSTRAK Setiap satuan pendidikan wajib menyelenggarakan pendidikan agama. Pendidikan agama di sekolah wajib diikuti oleh peserta didik. Setiap peserta didik berhak mendapatkan pendidikan agama sesuai dengan agama yang dianutnya dan diajarkan oleh pendidik yang seagama. Namun, pada kenyataannya masih terdapat diskriminasi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama di beberapa sekolah. SMP Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi merupakan sekolah swasta Katolik, tetapi tidak sedikit peserta didik muslim yang bersekolah di sekolah tersebut, dan telah mendapatkan pendidikan agama sesuai dengan yang dianutnya, yaitu pendidikan agama Islam (PAI). Oleh karena itu penting untuk diteliti mengenai pembelajaran PAI di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran PAI di sekolah Katolik. Secara lebih spesifik penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan alasan peserta didik muslim bersekolah di SMP Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi, pelaksanaan PAI, dan kualitas PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.yang kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, display data, dan terakhir verfikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alasan peserta didik muslim bersekolah di SMP Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi karena melanjutkan pendidikan formal dari sebelumnya, tidak diterima di sekolah negeri, mengikuti tradisi keluarga, memenuhi keinginan orang tua, berdasarkan keinginan sendiri disertai dukungan orang tua, mobilisasi jarak antara rumah dan sekolah terhitung dekat, mengikuti sistem zonasi, sekolah yang mempunyai keunggulan dengan tingkat kedisiplinan yang tinggi, merupakan sekolah swasta yang aman, kualitas pendidikannya bagus, dan sekolahnya menyenangkan. Terdapat beberapa hal yang berpengaruh dalam pelaksanaan PAI di SMP Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi diantaranya, guru PAI, fasilitas belajar, kurikulum yang digunakan, silabus, RPP, materi, metode, media, dan evaluasi. Secara keseluruhan kualitas PAI di SMP Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi sudah cukup baik. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Sekolah Katolik ABSTRACK Every education unit is obliged to provide religious education. Religious education in schools must be followed by students. Every student has the right to receive religious education in accordance with their religion and is taught by educators of the same religion. However, in reality there is still discrimination in religious education learning in several schools. Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi Junior High School is a private Catholic school, but not a few Muslim students attend this school, and have received religious education according to what they profess, namely Islamic education (PAI). Therefore it is important to research about Islamic Education learning in these schools. This research aims to describe Islamic Education learning in Catholic schools. More specifically, this research aims to describe the reasons for Muslim students attending Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi Junior High School, the implementation of Islamic Education, and the quality of Islamic Education. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and finally data verification. The results showed that the reasons for Muslim students attending Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi Junior High School were because they continued formal education from before, were not accepted in public schools, followed family traditions, fulfilled their parents' wishes, were based on their own wishes accompanied by parental support, mobilized distance between homes and the school is relatively close, follows a zoning system, a school that has excellence with a high level of discipline, is a safe private school, has good quality education, and the school is fun. There are several things that influence the implementation of Islamic Education at Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi Junior High School, including Islamic education teachers, learning facilities, the curriculum used, syllabus, lesson plans, materials, methods, media, and evaluation. Overall, the quality of Islamic education at Mardi Yuana Cibadak Sukabumi Junior High School is quite good. Keywords: Learning, Islamic Education, Catholic Schools
