520 |a The learning in non-formal education is expected to make the heterogeneous learning citizens as the students who have different conditions and various backgrounds need diverse learnings that are distinct from most learnings in formal institutions. This concern urges the tutor in equality eduacation program to conduct particular learnings which are exhilarating and not boring. Therefore, this challenge encourages the tutor to take up and imply joyful learning in the learning activities. Moreover, this study aims to find out 1) the tutors' comprehension about joyful learning in High School Equivalency program; 2) the implication of joyful learning; and 3) the benefits and deficiencies of using joyful learning method. This study approach is mix method using questionnaires distributed to five community learning centers as the data collecting instruments. This study shows that the tutors' comprehension about joyful learning is in "satisfactory" category with the percentage of 54.00. After that, the indicator of joyful learning implication in High School Equivalency Program shows 67.00 percent which is included in "good" category. Meanwhile, the principles of joyful learning is in "satisfactory" category with the percentage of 54.00. Lastly, the indicator of the benefits and deficiencies of using joyful learning method obtains 42.00 percent and includes in "satisfactory" category.
