Skripsi yang berjudul Analisis Fungsi Tindak Tutur dina Naskah Drama Meredong Karya Rosyid E. Abby ini merupakan suatu kajian mengenai hubungan penutur dan petutur dalam menafsirkan makna suatu tuturan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk tindak tutur dan fungsi tindak tutur dalam naskah drama Meredong karya Rosyid E. Abby. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan tekhnik studi dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan dalam naskah drama. Data yang didapatkan ada 281 bentuk tindak tutur dan 214 fungsi tindak tutur. Bentuk tindak tutur terbagi ke dalam tiga bagian yaitu, lokusi, ilokusi dan perlokusi. Sedangkan fungsi tindak tutur menjadi lima fungi, yaitu fungsi asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif. Terkait dengan hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat 4,98% tuturan lokusi, 19,94% tuturan ilokusi dan 75,09% perlokusi. Adapun fungsi tindak tuturnya sebanyak 15,88% fungsi asertif, 44,85% fungsi direktif, 31,30% fungsi ekspresif, 7,04% fungsi komisif, dan 0,93% fungsi deklaratif. Abstract This thesis which has title the analysis of speech act in script of Meredong drama by Rosyid E. Abby is a study about the relation between speaker and listener in interpreting the meaning of speech. Aim of this research is to analyze the form of spech act and its function in script of Meredong drama by Rosyid E. Abby. Descriptive methodology is used in this research. Documentation study is used for collecting the data. Data of research is the speech in the script of drama. The data which is gotten is 281 forms of speech act and 214 functions of spech act. Form of speech act is devided into three parts; locutions, illocutionary and perlokusi. While the function of speech act is devided into five functions; assertive, directive, commissive, expressive and declarative. Related to this research, it can be concluded that there are 4,98% locutions, 19,94% illocutionary and 75,09% perlokusi. As for the functions of speech act are 15,88% assertive, 44,85% directive, 31,30% expressive, 7,04% commisive and 0,93% declarative.
