Nilai sosial adalah segala sesuatu yang berkenaan dengan etika berperilaku yang berkembang di masyarakat serta dapat diterima dan digunakan di dalam lingkungan masyarakat karena dianggap pantas dan sesuai norma yang berlaku. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan muatan nilai sosial kasih sayang, nilai sosial tanggung jawab, dan nilai sosial keserasian hidup pada Buku Siswa Kelas IV SD/MI Tema 1 "IndahnyaKebersamaan" Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks bacaan pada Buku Siswa Kelas IV SD/MI Tema 1 "Indahnya Kebersamaan" Kurikulum 2013 Semester II Kurikulum 2013 yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Edisi Revisi 2017. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pada Buku Siswa Kelas IV SD/MI Tema 1 "IndahnyaKebersamaan" hanya memuat dua bentuk nilai sosial kasih sayang yaitu pengabdian dan tolong menolongserta tidak memuat nilai sosial kepedulian; 2) pada Buku Siswa Kelas IV SD/MI Tema 1 "Indahnya Kebersamaan" hanya memuat dua bentuk nilai sosial tanggung jawab yaitu rasa memiliki dan disiplinserta tidak memuat nilai sosial empati; 3) pada Buku Siswa Kelas IV SD/MI Tema 1 "Indahnya Kebersamaan" memuat tigabentuk nilai sosial keserasian hidup yaitu keadilan, toleransi, dan kerjasama ------ This research is motivated by the importance of instilling social values from an early age as the formation of Indonesian people's identity in facing challenges in the era of globalization. Social value is anything related to ethical behavior that develops in society and can be accepted and used in the society community because it is considered appropriate and in accordance with applicable norms. The purpose of this study is to describe the content of social values of love, social values of responsibility, and social values of life harmony in the Student Book 4rd Grade SD/MI Theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" Curriculum 2013. This research method is qualitative using content analysis techniques. The data source of this research is the reading text in the Student Book 4rd Grade SD/MI Theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" Curriculum 2013 Semester II which is published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) in the Student Book 4rd Grade SD/MI Theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" only contains two the form of social value of love, namely devotion and mutual help and does not contain the social value of caring; 2) in the Student Book 4rd Grade SD/MI Theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" only contains two forms of social value of responsibility, namely a sense of belonging and discipline and does not contain social value of empathy; 3) in the Student Book 4rd Grade SD/MI Theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" contains three forms of life harmony social values, namely justice, tolerance and cooperation.
