Summary:Penelitian ini dilatarbelangi oleh beberapa masalah, di antaranya: 1) kurikulum di Indonesia seringkali gonta-ganti sehingga berpengaruh pada pengelolaan administrasi PAI yang rumit. 2) Sekolah kurang terfasilitasi selaku pelaksana kurikulum. 3) Penerapan kurikulum belum optimal untuk mengatasi akhlak remaja pada usia sekolah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya kurikulum yang mampu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan jaman dan mampu memfasilitasi sarana prasarana yang dibutuhkan oleh tim pengembang kurikulum dan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dan memahami implementasi kurikulum PAI di SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung yang kental dengan versi Muhammadiyah itu sendiri. Secara spesifiknya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memahami, 1) tujuan kurikulum PAI. 2) Konten kurikulum PAI. 3) Media pembelajaran PAI. 4) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI. 5) Sistem evaluasi pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menjadi human instrument. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teknik dan data. Peneliti melakukan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) tujuan kurikulum PAI yaitu siswa untuk beriman, bertakwa, berilmu, beribadah, beramal shaleh dan dapat membedakan khurafat, bid'ah serta tahayul. 2) Konten kurikulum PAI di sekolah ini diperluas melalui rumpun bahasan materi yang mencakup Al Quran, aqidah, akhlak, fiqih dan tarikh. 3) Media pembelajaran PAI secara konsep menggunakan standar kekinian tetapi, secara pelaksanaan bersifat klasik contohnya penggunaan kapur tulis. 4) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI dilangsungkan melalui kegiatan awal (murojaah Al Quran), inti dan penutup. 5) Sistem evaluasi PAI dilakukan secara formatif, summatif dan praktek. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Implementasi, Muhammadiyah This study is based on several problems, which are: 1) the curriculum in Indonesia which is frequently changed and it affects the complicated administration of PAI. 2) The school is lack of facility as the curriculum's implementer. 3) The implementation of the curriculum is not optimal yet for dealing with morals among adolescent at school age. Therefore, it needs the curriculum which is able to adjust the needs of the times and to provide the infrastructure that is needed by the curriculum development team and school. This study is aimed to explore and understand the curriculum implementation of PAI in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung that is a strong version of Muhammadiyah itself. More specific, this study is purposed to describe and understand, 1) the curriculum objective of PAI. 2) The content of PAI curriculum. 3) Learning media of PAI. 4) Learning implementation of PAI. 5) Learning evaluation system of PAI. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. In this study, the research became human instrument. The data collection technique employed observation, interview and document study. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation of source, techniques and data. The researcher analyzed the data by doing data reduction, data display and verification. The result of this study shows that, 1) the objective of PAI curriculum is to make the students have faith, piety, knowledge, worship, do good deeds and to be able to differentiate khufarat, bid'ah and tahayul. 2) The content of PAI curriculum in this school was expanded through the material clusters which cover the Quran, aqidah, akhlak, fiqih and tarikh. 3) Learning media of PAI conceptually used the current standard but classical for the implementation for example the use of chalks. 4) The learning implementation of PAI was carried out through the beginning activity (the Quran murojaah), the core and closing. 5) The learning evaluation system of PAI was conducted formatively, summative and practically.
