Summary:Pengembangan model Visual Auditori Kinestetik merupakan suatu model pengembangan pembelajaran kolaborasi mixed learning style melalui pengalaman langsung (direct experience) dan menyenangkan berdasarkan preferensi gaya belajar siswa. Pengembangan dilakukan berdasarkan skema Dick Carey, and Carey terhadap komponen judul, materi, evaluasi, dan multimedia. Proses pembelajaran membaca permulaan disampiakan melalui metode global dengan stimuls gambar, pengenalan kalimat utuh sesuai gambar, dan proses deglobalisasi. Pengembangan model dibantu dengan beberapa media pembelajaran yang terdiri atas: TTS bergambar; powerpoint; gambar; rekaman; dan kartu kalimat. Uji kelayakan dan respons guru menunjukkan produk pengembangan sangat layak dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan di kelas II sakolah dasar. Kata kunci: pengembangan model VAK, metode global, multimedia, dan membaca permulaan ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF VISUAL AUDITORY KINESTETIC MODELS THROUGH MULTIMEDIA ASSISTED GLOBAL METHODS IN LEARNING TO READ THE BEGINNING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL II GRADE STUDENTS Wiwin Nurwaeni NIM 1802667 The development of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic model is a mixed learning style collaborative learning development model through direct experience and fun based on student learning style preferences. Development is carried out based on the Dick Carey, and Carey scheme for the title, material, evaluation, and multimedia components. The process of learning to read prefixes is conveyed through a global method with image stimulation, recognition of whole sentences according to pictures, and a process of deglobalization. Model development is assisted by several learning media consisting of: pictorial crossword puzzles; power point; picture; recording; and sentence cards. The feasibility test and teacher response show that the development product is very feasible and can be implemented in learning to read the beginning of grade II elementary school.
