Permasalahan yang penulis ajukan pada penelitian ini mengenai hubungan pada Fungsi Kognitif dengan Keterampilan Motorik Kasar yang diikuti oleh 49 orang anak usia 4 tahun. Pengambilan data fungsi kognitif menggunakan iPad dengan melakukan 2 games yaitu Go/No-Go dan Mr.Ant. Sedangkan, untuk pengambilan data motorik kasar menggunakan 3 item tes, yaitu tes Supine Time Up and go, tes One leg Standing Balance, dan tes Standing Long Jump. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara congnitive function dengan gross motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara cognitive function dengan gross motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun dilihat dari uji korelasi person product moment bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,256 > 0,05, Dengan nilai pearson correlations (koefisien korelasi) Cognitive Function terhadap Gross Motor Skills sebesar 0.165, maka artinya Cognitive Function dan Gross Motor Skills tergolong kategor sangat rendah. Maka H0 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara cognitive function denfan gross motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun. Hal ini serupa dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Irene M.J. van der Fels et al.. (2014) yang berjudul The relationship between motor skills and cognitive skills in 4-16 year old. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Hubungan antara keterampilan motorik dan keterampilan kognitif pada anak berusia 4-16 tahun. Dalam penelitian tersebut dikatakan "Bukti lemah ditemukan untuk korelasi yang lemah antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan kecerdasan terkristalisasi. Tidak ada bukti yang cukup untuk korelasi antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan pemrosesan visual, memori jangka pendek, memori jangka panjang, IQ, keterampilan akademik, dan memori kerja. Tidak ada bukti untuk korelasi antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan pengetahuan umum, memori kerja visuospatial, perhatian, dan kapasitas kognitif untuk menyandikan dan menganalisis.; The problem that the authors propose in this study is about the relationship to Cognitive Function and Coarse Motor Skills followed by 49 children age 4 years. Retrieval of cognitive function data using iPad by doing 2 games namely Go / No-Go and Mr.Ant. Whereas, for collecting gross motor data using 3 test items, namely the Supine Time Up and Go test, the One leg Standing Balance test, and the Long Jump Standing test. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between congnitive function and gross motor skills in children aged 4 years. The results of data processing and analysis states that there is no significant relationship between cognitive function and gross motor skills in children age 4 years seen from the person product moment correlation test that the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.256 > 0.05, with the Pearson value correlations (correlation coefficient) Cognitive Function on Gross Motor Skills is 0.165, so that means Cognitive Function and Gross Motor Skills are classified as very low category. Then H0 is accepted so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between cognitive function with gross motor skills in children age 4 years. This is similar to research conducted by Irene M.J. van der Fels et al .. (2014) entitled The relationship between motor skills and cognitive skills in 4-16 year old. This study aims to examine the relationship between motor skills and cognitive skills in children aged 4-16 years. In the study said "Weak evidence was found for a weak correlation between gross motor skills and crystallized intelligence. There is not enough evidence for a correlation between gross motor skills and visual processing, short-term memory, long-term memory, IQ, academic skills, and working memory. There is no evidence for a correlation between gross motor skills and general knowledge, visuospatial working memory, attention, and cognitive capacity to encode and analyze.
